@Undeveloped A few weeks ago I Complained about buyers not paying for domains and undeveloped not giving the seller the option to cancel the transaction. You pointed out a Way to cancel the transaction but it still keeps the transaction open This is not giving the Seller control of the transaction! And its NOT ENOUGH If a seller decides to cancel the transaction they should have the full 100% right to do so when they want to. I'm sick of the games And this is not Satisfactory as the seller you should have some kind of control and a NON PAYER NEEDS TO GET THE HINT THAT YOUR NOT PLAYING GAMES. There needs to be a option to cancel the deal! There should also be a way to message the seller after the agreement is reached.

If we are putting BIN on Undeveloped..

I am unable to set below that amount...

Hi Imadoer,

Did you contact support? Full cancelation requests are handled quite fast if you use the chat option while being logged in.

Kind regards,

Reza

That takes too long especially on the weekend when no one is available. Pretty sad you dont want to give a little extra control to the seller.

Are you complaining to complain? I'm getting a bit fed up with all the unfounded complaints in this thread that creates clutter and takes way our attention of important high-impact items.

You have the ability to relist the domain and quite to the contrary we exclusively offer support in the weekends for also this type of requests.

If this thread continues to build on the negatives constantly my personal interest to be as active here will also diminish.

Hi Boudi,

You can enable renting your domain in that column. Do note that we (currently) offer rentals only and not a combination landing page. Our tests so far show the combination lander is too confusing and hurts conversion so we still have work to do until we'll offer rentals in a different way.

What I would advice is to use the rental option as an additional tool for you to become a more successful seller.

So in negotiations when you see the negotiation is stalling, propose the buyer multiple options including the ability to rent the domain. In most cases, negotiations go south due to a too big discrepancy between your price and the price that the buyer has in mind.

When you enter such a deadlock in negotiations, I would advice to always propose the option for your buyers to purchase the name in installments or flirt with the idea to rent the domain.

Once the buyer agrees to rent the domain, you simply enable the rental landing page and ask the buyer in chat to visit the domain and initiated the transaction.

Kind regards,
Reza

I wonder if somewhere you could advise buyers or offer-makers that installments or rental may be available. Then they could ask the seller about that since, as you say, this can move negotiations along. And allows them to spend more.

Some of the repeat queries in this thread could go into an FAQ - someone else started an FAQ thread on here hoping to avoid trivia but info from this thread would have to be moved across to that one. And since Undeveloped is under development things may change!

Am I complaining to complain NO I'm trying to make undeveloped a better place for the seller and you ain't listening. Not being to fully cancel a transaction is weak sending payment reminders to someone that wont pay is weak and so is the fact that you ain't doing anything about it.

I have been hesitant to put any buy it nows since immediate payment is not mandatory. Seems to be alot of issues with fake buyers. What is Undeveloped doing to deter those fake buyers from continuing shenanigans with other listings?

Personally I think it should be up to the individual seller whether to demand immediate payment and when to cancel a non paying transaction. Too much coddling makes more problems. There should be a consequence for not paying at the very least that they can be blocked by that seller.

That's your opinion which is fine. We disagree here because I already gave you an option to relist and cancel your transactions.

You say:

"Not being to fully cancel a transaction is weak" - I'm not sure if I follow this one. If we cancel a transaction, the sale is gone permanently. Canceling too early is data proven a bad move as you turn the chance of a successful sale into zero chance of a successful sale.

"Sending payment reminders to someone that wont pay is weak" - I don't think so. That's how you convert a non-payer into a successful buyer. Not sending reminders and outright canceling each sale after 24 hours will cost you a lot of money as a seller. Some sellers might come back, many will have moved on and chosen another domain.

This is exactly what we get when inaccurate information is being spread guys...

Karmaco, the best model to sell is to add BIN prices so absolutely don't skip that part because of the clutter in this thread. Definitely also enable installments when adding BIN prices. You'll definitely start loving that feature once your sales are starting to come in.

By the way, when in doubt, feel free to test the system yourself. If we have to cancel a test transaction, that's totally fine.

All sellers that only work with BIN's never have a single non-payper as the buyer is sent directly to checkout.

Also, Undeveloped doesn't have a non-payer issue. You might start thinking that if you read some comments here but some sellers see a buyer that takes 2 days to pay as a non-payer. When those buyers eventually pay, you don't hear them here posting it (it happened).

Hi Carob,

Directly after the buyer places an offer we send them emails with tips on how to negotiate successfully and we start informing them on why a premium name is worth the price etc. In that email, we also mention that installments may be available. We'll add the rental option as well once that feature has matured a little bit.

Kind regards,

Reza

Hi thanks, that is helpful info. Could you copy that to us or at least share the contents or points made, for example in a seller-only section of the site? It really helps to know where the buyer is coming from and what they have been told. Are there other stock messages we might like to know about?

At Uniregistry/DomainNameSales you can see all the broker messages to the client so you really do know what is going on.

By contrast, at Sedo you are very in dark - messaging clients at Undeveloped is way better.

I have a situation with a buyer who didn't pay in 30 of July, transaction got canceled and later on Sep, he paid for the domain with fake identity so changing barrier won't help IMHO

If this thread continues to build on the negatives constantly my personal interest to be as active here will also diminish.
:xf.frown::xf.frown::xf.frown: Don't go please we appreciate your great support in here

I think that Undeveloped.com is too... Undeveloped at this moment:) There is not too much serious offers/propositions at this platform. But as a design it looks very nice, so Undeveloped could be much more nice in future and become serious domain selling platform.
