The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Nice comparison @MetBob - thanks for this great effort!

Just read that GD unveiled it's new bulk tool for up to 100k domains. You can basically appraise an entire portfolio!

Here's the article...pretty cool. Not sure why these appraisal systems are needed?

As a special offer only for NamesCon conference attendees, GoDaddy will be giving out a “token” with aspecial code to unlock a bulk domain name appraisal option. The token can be found in attendee swag bags as well as at the GoDaddy booth on the NamesCon exhibition floor. Each token is for a one time usage, and users can search up to 100,000 domain names with this token. One thing to keep in mind is that the tool will not be able to assign an overall value for a portfolio since the highest appraised value assigned to domain name is $25,000+. This means that a portfolio of 10 domain names worth $100,000 each would only appraise at $250,000+ total.

If you have are in your GD domain listings you will see a "beta" view to the right side of the page. If you choose it then one of the columns of data will be your name's valuation (GD's valuation). Export the list and you have what GD thinks your portfolio is worth. :)

ha, GoDaddy thinks my entire portfolio with them is worth over $425K. I'll sell it to them cheap - 50% off. :)

Is the appraisal tool browser dependent? It stopped working for me in FF since like a month ago. Works in other browsers.

Joe, now it works. I'll report here if this happens again. Thank you!

I can also confirm its working for me now. When it didnt work it was just timing out - not responding. Same here, if I have issues again I will report back. I use Chrome 99.9% of the time now though.

When I access the GoDaddy appraisal tool, I want to save it off the browser, so I use the Print link for Save As PDF to keep it.

This works fine on most browsers, although there is a long lag time before the printer window comes up.

With Safari, when I click the Print link nothing at all happens, other than the browser reverts to the top, and then after a very long lag, after you've already given up and figured that nothing will happen, the printer window pops up. Someone at GoDaddy should look into this and why the print window takes so long to pop up, and to observe how badly it works on Safari. @Joe Styler

I use Chrome. I added a cool plugin for page capture. It copies the webpage and offers instant save as image or pdf.

The over all problem with Chrome - is that it bogs down on the latest MacBook Pro 2018 or 2019. I have the MBP 2019 16 inch (highest fastest configuration) and no one - not Google not Apple can figure out the issue. Many on the internet are complaining about this. Chrome appears to be extremely CPU/GPU intensive even when Chrome’s hardware acceleration is turned off. Reducing the number of Chrome add-ons (extensions) does seem to help.

For some reason this slowing of functionality happens only with MacBook Pros and Chrome not with iMacs.

As a result I’ve limited my use of Chrome and have switched over to Safari.

But by the way - absent using an add-on such as the one you mention, trying to print (save as PDF) the GoDaddy appraisal page from Chrome via the GoDaddy “Print” link is also slow, but not as slow as from Safari.
