Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

All we need is Plants.com to be industry related and were laughing.

Full disclosure: wer'e all biased ,
Today's Nips: PlantVapes and singular King. & Agrikush/king

I would say Hemp is top keyword IMHO
Pairings with Generalized product lines or descriptives will be the highest ROI , the rest are hit or miss.
Learn your keywords , dont guess.
& Brandables work for DN artists
Good luck all.

It just sold for $450,000. Surely a listing from the previous owner.

Might be the case. I see kush on sedo now. Whale investor , or it could be what you say

Plants.com sale not really relevant to this thread since it was acquired by 1800flowers.com
They also own flowers.com and redirect it to their main website. They were the reason Schwartz paid that amount on flowers.mobi too.

I agree to a point on plants.com; although I feel there is new synergy in the agriculture marketplace because of Marijuana; that at its core is the growing of plants.

After years of small farms closing, agri conglomerates taking over ( and still are ).

The farm bill permanently funded the farm market programs. Small farmers may have more confidence now.

Theres new inspiration; new startups. In all aspects of agriculture. Growing plants, development of new innovative products. Spefic to cea ( controlled enviorment agriculture), including lights, new environmental equipment, software companies and the list goes on.

Cannabis is creating most of this energy. Billions will be invested in equipment and services related to marijuana.

The research and development of new companies in agri related to marijuana ( and hopefully a new domain) flows straight into farming in the future, Bowery, Plenty and Square Roots leads the way.

Innovation coming from Cannabis and led lights contributed to this new farming industry. And will flow into floriculture.

The idea that agriculture has little to do with Cannabis is shortsighted. The core of our domain sales comes from growing plants.

A domain is a extension of a new business. Its not a few words and extension based on prior sales and algorithms. It's a business and part of a marketing rollout, that sells products and services.

There is some money but not alot, in selling plants also; I've thought for some time that another hot aspect of Cannabis will be in selling starter plants and seeds.

Cannabis is a plant. A money plant.

USA Farm bill passed.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...fR11a-7QWNH9GrgIVIx9Q8&utm_term=.cb0caa156f0e

Ooops seems already posted..sorry
Still a interesting read..

Last night over a beer I saw this passing. Felt like Christmas came early, not sure about my retirement over domains, thats still a unknown. Re posting the future in cbd and hemp domains is just a extra reminder how important this Farm Bill was too us holding cbd and hemp domains, two word .coms

At the bar last night in Ohio I was approached by 2 farmers curious about hemp. They currently farm Soybeans. I live in the heart of the midwest farming belt. I'm literally surrounded by tens of thousands of un harvested soybeans ( because of Trump ). For those not familiar with Ohio aprox 20% of the entire state is in soybeans. Total land mass, not farmable. These farmers are taking a serious look at hemp as we speak. They need some ancillary equipment but nothing that they can't and won't invest in. These farmers run $500 grand Deere tractors for reference. Most have thousands of acres they farm.

Today two articles, one in Nebraska the other in Wisconsin mentioned Spring planting of Hemp.

The reality of a entire agri business and support and services around hemp and cbd is taking hold. Unreal
