Why Opt-in to the Afternic Premium Network is not working for all domains (GoDaddy) that I listed?

I had listed 160+ domains on Afternic.com just 20 days back. Then I had received mail from Godaddy with the title Action required: Authorize your domains listing for about 50 domains only, which I authorized immediately and are listed as fast-transfer on Afternic now.

However, I didn't receive Authorization e-mail for rest of my domains. Afternic.com replied that it is the responsibility of Godaddy.com. When I contacted Godaddy team, they said, if I will relist my domains, then I may receive authorization email.

I relisted 5 .com domains from the above portfolio 3 days ago, but didn't receive authorization email.

I want to list all of my domains as fast-transfer which are eligible for fast-transfer on afternic.com. Is their any solution for this? Is there another way to give authorization from the same Godaddy account to remaining domains ?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Fast transfer can get enabled within 60 days from registration. So we don't need to wait for 60 days to make the domain opt-in for fast transfer.
I am not able to enroll domains in fast transfer until after 60 days. Then right around day 60 I get an email from afternic/godaddy asking me to opt in.

I've also never had to wait more than an hour for the transfer code from godaddy so I'm not sure why it's taking you 50 days.

I understand that all experiences are different, but your experience described in a few posts is like a different world than I inhabit.

The technology services of GD can be a bit buggy at times. I don't intend to bash them when I say that, just stating reality. One tip, or work around, is to manually perform a function if possible. In the event you need to speak with customer service, they are generally helpful and excel in that space.

Hi @Camvard I looked into a few of the names you have. They were registered on 9-13 so they could not fast transfer until 11-13. You had tried listing them several times before that. If you had waited you should have gotten the opt in on 11-13 or whenever 60 days was up, maybe 11-12.
On the two other names I looked at asa5.com and 7as7.com you were sent opt in notices from GoDaddy at 11/25/2018 11:00:11 PM. We see them in our logs. Can you check and see if you are filtering our emails or they are going to spam, being tied to the same thread as the others with that subject etc?

@Joe Styler Right Sir- 8 of my domains were registered in September. Although 60 days are over now, I am waiting for opt-in mail. I have checked my spam box, there is not such opt-in mail present. Please speed up this process. I am happy with the service of afternic.com as I just listed my all domains in this November and got first sales within few days :) ( because it was listed as fast-transfer).

It’s inconsistent. I’ve had domains fast transfer listed within the sixty day period you mention and also had domains fast transfer listed when about to expire within just days.

And then other times Afternic won’t fast transfer list such domains and notifies me that I must wait or must renew first.

On the domains I looked up we checked the logs and emails were sent. You can email [email protected] with the domains you want to have checked and they can lookup the emails for them to see if they were sent, when, and to where.

We are sending you the opt ins as I mentioned earlier. If you are not getting them you can check in your spam folder or continue to work with service@ to determine what is happening. Beyond pulling the logs we have showing we sent them though there is not much we can do. It may help if you have another email address you can try in case the one we are sending them to is filtering the emails.

Sir, I have received this mail from afternic.com on Dec 3:

Congratulations on choosing the Afternic Premium Network for the promotion of your domain names. Your domains are registered with an eligible Premium Network registrar.

In order to get the domains live on the Premium Network: 1) we need to confirm your domain ownership and 2) you need to accept the Premium Network terms and conditions so that your domains are opted-in to the Premium Network. Sir, the nameservers of all the above domains have been already directed to Afternic.com. You can check above domains are parked with afternic.com. This type of e-mail from afternic.com I received previously too. However, I am waiting for the final email from Godaddy.com to give permission of all domains for afternic.com.

@Bob Hawkes, I figured out that domains listed at GoDaddy, can't be registered for fast transfer until the 60 day lock is up; but for some reason domains at Network Solutions list despite being in the 60 day lock period. Hope this helps

Yes it does help, everyone should know the added benefits of dealing with other less known hosts, I am now seeing people buy for much less, and get auth codes in a few days, not 60 , its a race for providers to let their positives outweigh the negative, and Im starting to feel defeated, It is tough enough gaining an edge full time, 1 month down usually from exp auction, than a 60 day bitch slap is a 25% kill on first year survival as a re seller. Godaddy will have one more chance with me.

I would like to bring more attention to this thread, I am new as of 4 months ago, and now feel my first year success has been hindered dearly, no not due to sales stats. that depends on the domain and marketing , I get it., this is due to the cost of money and time associated with the massive disadvantages of platform issues and policies. Im paying the 9-25 cost 500 times over and stuck in 60 day lock, and many afternic fast trasnfers taking 4 months and still not activated. Countless hours calling and listing, I could be spending all this confusion and time building on skill sets that will bring further success, mean while others are regging at 1 dollar, listing afternic fast transfer with in a day or two, and getting auth codes after just a few days with other registrars. I agree its a benifit to have GD account for other reasons, but to have trusted them sinking 90% of my eggs in one basket was a bad choice it appears.

Something is wrong here. it needs to be addressed.

I am also getting multiple deletions from afternic listings, stating in the emails they can not prove ownership ......... these domains are all hosted with Godaddy.. explain that one eh :(

Yes that is a glitch we are working with them on to correct, the domains can be listed as fast transfer but they still can't transfer if there is a lock on them until the lock expires.

That is strange. Sorry about that. You can email [email protected] and point that out to them so they can correct it.

You cannot transfer a domain with 60 days of a new registration it has a lock on it mandated by ICANN if it is a GTLD, cctlds vary.

Yes I have done this, I think its my best choice to just delete everything now as help that resolves issues is hard to come by.

If your domains are registered at GoDaddy you can link your account with Afternic and they will be approved instantly.

I have for some, I have issues which cause the beta to not resolve, I spent hours on the phone , multiple times, they refused to create a ticket for it saying its " likely " because im in the Philippines, and their beta wont always be available to everyone.

this was the first of the roller coaster of issues 4 months ago,

the last was 10 minutes ago when I have now spent one hour trying to get a transfer in from NP member and it got stuck in godaddys Que , so had to reinitialize transfer after we both called into support. I can hand mishaps, but the ungodly amount of hours has me defeated.

but thank you for your attempt of solution, was kind input regardless.

Just seen this thread.
Had added a few names and now waiting for email etc. Seems a very convoluted process compared to other similar providers.
Was going to add a lot more names but seems like a PIA.
Give it a couple of days and then revert from what I can see

And getting this on a regular basis last 2 days:

"We apologize, but something seems to have gone wrong...
Our technical team will have a solution very shortly."

Not very encouraging.

Me too, for many months. The support staff even recommended me to list from Afternic, which is what I do now.
