Have they done this holiday promotion previous years (and I missed it

)? If so can someone share how good the deals were in past. I know their Black Friday and CyberMonday and spring transfer deals but did not realize they also had December ones!

I don't remember a Christmas deal in the past. Personally, I want to be able to register cheap .coms & 1 cheap .net (personal use).

Thanks. Might be interesting to give our Christmas wish list in case Namecheap follow the thread. For me personally I would love great deals on

.org It was great we could get some Black Friday but would love chance to register another as it is so seldom discounted and seems to be growing in sales viability.
.page I know not many are enthusiastic about the Google extension but I am. Would love to get a discounted price.
.com We always can use more of these!
.group or .company I like these new extensions and think they have a reasonable future. Although they do not cost so much regularly at Namecheap, a super discount would always be nice.

So what would be in your wish list?

ps Of course io at a cheap price would be a dream, but I don't think that will happen cause of the huge wholesale price of the extension to registrars!

Not sure if this was meant as humour, but as I understand it with 24 hr availability of each of the days of deals, and with no limit, it seems to me their really is no limit. Not sure issues you had but I find Namecheap servers in general offer superb response time (I do know they had two outages this year, one related to a fire, but most of the time I find their response flawless).

Will be interesting to see what extensions are offered, and at what prices. I was surprised to see $0.88 deals on .org and .app (as well as .net and .com that I expected) in their CyberMonday and BlackFriday deals. I doubt we will see such deep discounts this time without number of domain limits that the coupon system had, but hope I am wrong.

Would be great to see some deals on
.com .net .org - Renewals, Transfers and Regs

But since its unlimited, i don't expect them to be as good as ThanksGiving. But even $6 transfers and renewals on these extensions might be nice.

eventough there is no limit on purchases but NC server were not ready for all of those online swarming... how many time you caught on the cart ready to pay only to see the NC payment page were crashing?

If I transferred names from a registrar with a Nov 2019 expiration date to namecheap, will the domains be valid till Nov 2020?

I got a coupon for the shared hosting (one month's price for the whole year thing) but could not redeem it on time as an error keep popping whenever I tried to redeem. Somehow managed to get another coupon for the .co offer and successfully registered one. It's quite possible to miss some of the deals like that on such offers. I think it's better to "try benefit" rather than to "totally depend on the offers".

In general, most extensions, a transfer (no matter the registrar) comes with adding one year registration, so yes exactly like you say.

Is it possible that you had hosting with them in past? I believe by the terms of the hosting coupon it was only if you had not used NC for that hosting plan prior. Other than that or it being past 24 hr can't think why it would not work. I am sorry you missed out but glaf you got a .co!

No it was a technical issue. It said something like heavy traffic and some issues, please try again later. I had no prior hosting with them and coupon was valid, just that I could not proceed further after applying the code. But yeah, I was also busy the following day so could not follow up. The next day I got the .co coupon and applied and ordered successfully. Great deal indeed!

Thanks for explanation, @Shaun Lun. Too bad as that was indeed a good hosting deal (I used a similar one a few years ago). They do have hosting deals coming up in their holiday days sale, but doubt the deal will be as good as that. BTW not nearly as good as the $0.88 .co price during CyberMonday, but I noticed this morning they have a $4.88 .co deal no now, which by TLD-list is the best deal anywhere right now on .co. Just in case you were looking for more.

Are you referring to the situation 3 years ago when their Black Friday promotion was not done with coupons and many people were trying to simultaneously register as many as possible? I agree it was a problem then, but for the last two years with coupons I did not experience any problems at all cashing in the coupons on the two days of sales. And this promotion that your response was to is 24 hr for each set of deals, so I don't anticipate it would be like the situation of 3+ years ago.
