Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

Cannabis & international Treaty scheduling & FAAAT think & do tank

World Health Organization (WHO) much anticipated release of findings of two year scientific assessment of Cannabis leaves observers stunned and upset. The last assessment by WHO in 1954 fuelled global prohibition under the UN drug control Treaty framework.
Today in front of governments of the world, WHO reported that Tramadol – a pain medicine widely used in places where legal access to morphine is limited – should not be placed under control, citing evidence indicating placing the drug under international control would diminish legitimate therapeutic access. This is an overt condemnation of the international drug control policy’s adverse impact on access to medicine.

Back in my homeland and surrounding countries, Tradamol is used -and abused- for its sedative effects as an alternative for cannabis/hash since they are illegal.

Vulnerable people prefer to use it since it is basically a pill and it is hard to get caught carrying or using it. It is a fast gateway to other drugs, mainly heroine. They start off with a pill or two, next thing you know it is 5 or 10 or even 20 pills per day. That's if the user doesn't decide it is 'better' for them to go the heroine route.

I have seen it ruin lives right before my eyes. I really wish it gets controlled but no, cannabis is WAY more dangerous I assume. Imagine all the lives that can be saved just by legalizing cannabis?

Once medical marijuana becomes more accepted by the public.
Pretty sure that CBN, CBG etc are going to be common keyword like CBD
I’ll say not a chance. CBD is the popular term, even on the news yesterday here. It’s too well known as the medicinal side of cannabis. Nothing else will take that away.

If you check the image..you will notice that CBD is not the only active medical chemical in cannabis.
Think specialized medicine.

We're lucky

Were lucky we got cbd out of this " word " market. I'd throw Canna in the pile also. It came from Canna brands. If their was TM they would have owned the word. It's a fake word, other than some tropical plant that has NOTHING to do with Cannabis.

Just the fact the word market moved from old school " get high " references into cbd, canna,on leaf, 2019 I Hope, and brandables is amazing enough. Call it luck even.

Hemp was a piece of rope or a shirt just a few years back. I had a sweet hemp couch. We got lucky here too.

For historical perspective I believe cbd " the widely used " came from cannabis policys that were trying to be passed with no Thc. Florida was the first play in this with one of the worst marijuana plants to grow; Charlotte's web. Its got only Cbd in it pretty much. Therefore CBD was borne.

As advances in extract technology advanced beyond Colorado they could separate out the Thc. But Charlotte Web was the first idea of separation.

This idea that thier is a bunch of other catchy words is a bit misguided in my opinion. As I still wait for Leaf to gain traction. Renewals on a few thousand domains of Leaf this and that is aggressive, I've dealt with this for 5 years now. Now the entire inventory is self sustaining. Took 4 years. Thank god for my day job in environmental controls in horticulture.

Now if your smart enough to sense a trend ahead of its time, and have some cash to burn sure hand reg away on things. I did that with Leaf; but after leafly. I'm still waiting to hit the jackpot years and years ( see above) later so there you are.

If you can mine the news and research papers ( that their are few of ) and grab some forward words. This may bear fruit. This is a long game at best. Some of the words mentioned I've never heard of. I read and follow state by state trends and legislation pdfs both passed and unpassed.

I did hand reg a bunch of farming cbd and hemp. I'm a farmer. Apparently domain people aren't. That was 2 years ago. I'm still waiting too. On a bunch of top two word seo cbd and hemp. I don't have Cbdag; or Hempag. But I have alot of CBD and Hemp farming domains none the less, agri, agricultural, agriculture etc...again still waiting too.

Sweet! Love the " once the floodgates open " phrases like that sells domains.

CBD and Hemp domains; wow. We may have inadvertently hit the jackpot. Few could have anticipated this. I think its Trumps stupidity on Soybean tariffs that China placed on midwest farmers. Down the road from me are a few thousand acres of unpicked soybeans. 0 market. And all the silos are full around here. Farmers need a option for spring planting and fast.

We get the hemp bill attached to the Farm Bill that if I'm correct happens every 4 years.

@Corey You reg a lot of names in various country codes and extensions. Just curious, you ever sell any of them, or get 'interest' in any?
