The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Why do you think this name is valuable? Who would be the target market for it?

The best way to sell a domain quickly is to start with a good domain :cigar:

If you want to sell quickly, you have to invest in so called "liquid domains" .. this is the only category of domains which can be sold any day....and quickly.

Or, if the domain name is not liquid but is still good, you can offer it to fellow domain investors for "2% of estibot price" or so I have read in "would like to buy domain threads"...again, this way you will also sell quicky :)

Your name mentioned above does not make much sense, and probably will not sell...

yes, for beginners without not much money the most accessible investment is LLLL.com, where L is any letter in alphabet.

This is liquid domain...in meaning, that when you open auction here in Namepros, people who also trade with liquid domain will give you at least USD 200 for it usually, and sometimes much higher, depending on many variables.

The first steps to try to sell that andronew.com is probably is to spend some quality time reading through forums like Namepros to learn what sells and what not. Like some of the others have said, you need to have some back story to that domain name. What does it mean? I foresee you're trying to sell it off as a brandable but is as virtually clueless. The art of domaining is not a get rich quick , pump and dump scheme. It takes an eye for details as well as a positive learning mindset. Ok lets take a look at this two words : andro and new. Are you trying to market a newly discovered Andromeda galaxy with that domain? If so, then you need to market this towards clients in the astronomy/scientific field or something. With more practice, you'll grasp the understanding of hand-regging or reselling a domain.

Maybe, but if people have to guess what a domain means, it's probably not a good domain. It would take MILLIONS in advertising and a great business to get people to remember it (like Google, eBay or any other made up words that turned into monsters)

Yes you're right, most of today's startup's keep cryptic names like quasoo getsyy etc.. they don't realize that millions need to be spent to make people understand their concept... and when they don't do it ... it fails.

Random LLLL.com floor price is now $100. No body want to invest $200 for them here. If you check, many LLLL.com here for sale $105 - $120 but no any buyer.

x q y z type of domains yes - I have a few and even without these letters they are of no real value.

Pronounceables however are a different story, I purchased dunr(dot)com and personally rated it quite high.

if its a good domain it can be flipped fast , ie liquid domains. however domaining is all about correct investment and patiently finding/ waiting for the perfect buyer paying the optimum price

selling too early and impatiently always will have a big negotiation disadvantage.

You can submit to dn.biz , they have a weekly newsletter with submitted domains for sale at a commission rate of 15% if a sale is generated otherwise there is no cost.

Always interesting to hear the word 'liquidity' come up as my experience is there is no such thing in the domain market. The reality is we have a misconception of liquidity, what we really mean is liquidation. As liquidity when associated with financial markets (which I do not believe the 'asset class' is comparable), means there is an active market (IE oil contracts, gold, etc.) and you can buy or sell at market price and the entire market agrees. The problem with domain names is that market does not exist nor does anyone agree (hardly ever) on price/valuation. Ask 10 different people and get 12 different answers.
