Recently Meet.com has been sold in 7 figures!

This could be a nice social or dating site. What do you think ? Is this really worth to be sold in 7 figures ?

To answer the OPs question - I think it's worth high 6 figures, low 7 figures. It would be a huge upgrade for many companies/sites and it is a nice short 4L domain that everyone can spell.

If you know how to spell. I bet 3 out of 10 or more spell it Meat.

Google meet vs meat and you will see just how often people confuse the spelling.

easily 1.5 - 2 million USD name, tons of applications.
1- dating industry
2- corporate meetings industry (perhaps locations to have meetings which is a multi-billion dollar business)
3- vacation for family gatherings (chalet's, halls, etc..) , business parties
4- Annual event to meet employers and people with skills

so many other applications...

This just cracked me up so much. The more I think about it the sad truth is that many people would put meat instead of meet. Regardless, it is an upgrade for tons of companies out there.

The funny thing is that if Meet.com becomes a dating site then to make Meat.com also a dating site but more sex oriented would be genius. Get all the free traffic from Meet.com

A great name and definitely worth a low 7-fig for the right investor, who is going to develop and manage a huge (probably dating related) project and website.

I thought the same thing, maybe they'll use a mirror logo.

Perfect name for the craigslist personals and backpage.com traffic since both sites were shut down. As long as their servers are outside the US they will avoid the new sesta fosta law.

I'm new here, but started buying domains in 07, I think. That's a nice sale.
I mostly hand reg. It's more hobby than business. Haven't sold any.
