And he was Wrong by criticizing the situation in any way at this moment.
Still abut a 1000 people have yet to be found.
Smoke is still choking people all the way to San Francisco.

Why is ok for him to criticize forest management while the fires are still going on and loss of life may go to over 1000 when every time after a mass shooting its WAY TOO early to talk about gun safety?

Oregon couple fined 135K for refusing to make a wedding cake, then state bureaucrats give them an order not to discuss the case. They have lost all appeals, despite blatant anti-Christian wording of the decision.

The former SOS and equality council compared the refusal to rape. Now headed to SCOTUS. Hopefully they will be successful.

This is as good an example as any that much of the left is beyond reasoning with. Even if you open their eyes to the obvious contradictions to their world view, instead of changing that world view they look for ever more Byzantine ways of rationalizing it. Look for future headlines such as "Fire is cold, but why do we keep burning ourselves when we touch it?" People who have any sense at all are trickling away from the left as it becomes ever more detached. I long ago learned to ignore it when the media calls someone far right, extremist, white supremacist, racist, etc. Even a brief investigation usually shows these to be lies.

There is no more convincing evidence that a group is not white supremacist than the fact that it has multi-racial members and leaders. Such a complete denial of reality really can't be addressed by a logical presentation of facts. It's a mental imbalance of sorts. It won't be addressed until it makes life much worse for everybody.
