Like a few previous years let's fill the domaining community with happiness again.

Blackfriday and cybermonday are just 10 days away and I am sure all of us are geared up to make the most of the awesome deals on the internet.

Gather all you can and put all the deals here. I will try and consolidate all deals in one post.

Cheers,
Aditya.

Seems like not many deals this time. I wonder what are other companies planning. Considering blackfriday it is just 4 days away.

Looking for transfer deals that’s the only thing I will check for. I really don’t like the shut up and wait and hope you get it aspect of NameCheap’s deals.

I respect those who say the effort may not be worth it for them, but presuming it is like last year Namecheap system is really pretty easy. Log in top of hour, click to take coupon. Then sometime in next couple days log in and register all your coupons. But if most people don't bother, better chance for me! :xf.grin:

I respect your opinion Bob but some of us don’t want to monitor their site for 8 hours on one of the biggest shopping days of the year. It’s obviously set up that way to throttle the buying.

You are correct @Bob Hawkes

The purpose of thread is to spread the upcoming offers / deals which are relevant to Domaining..

And it does that...

Utilising it or not is entirely the members decision...

And posting it is waste of time to go for offers or posting I am going to search for X hours for this offer/deal is totally unnecessary...

Again it is started to benefit who want to use it...rest is their opinions and which are not contributing anything

This is true. I will be away at family in another part of the country and certainly wont be able to keep tabs on things like this often throughout the day. I hope for some cyber monday deals when I am back and in front of computer all day. Transfer deals, specifically!

Cyber Monday is Cyber for a reason. :P

Well, Namecheap has this ridiculous formula to get maximum attention for minimum number candies in the bag. Cant blame them. If they open the candy bag at once, the day will be over in seconds.

Register.it (may only be valid for EU residents)

Transfer up to 3 domains for €0.45 each (55c with fees).

I've previously used this promo and it worked for me for 3 domains.

Register.it is fine, clunky/slow interface and updating DNS can be a pain, I've transferred out without any problems on many occasions. Don't think you'll find a better deal on transfers.

I just posted a little article on the Name.com Black Friday to Cyber Monday promotion. Love the deals at just $0.99 for .pro and .info and $0.50 for .xyz. They also have .biz at much less than current wholesale cost. Note that you use a coupon anytime during the promotion period and are limited to 10 domains and only for new registrations. My complete story is here:

It is interesting that Rebel use (for redirection) a .blackfriday ngTLD
Rebel.blackfriday
takes you to their promo page.
Does anyone know of other hosting/domain companies using one like that?

I know that Amazon use the extension Amazon.blackfriday takes you to their deals.

Bob

Edit: I notice that GoDaddy do use a .blackfriday ngTLD as well, but it only directs to their main page, not a Black Friday promotion, at least not yet. Maybe will when we are at Black Friday?

I got the email and it DID say $20 transfer out fee.

*50¢ domain promotional pricing applies to the initial charge on the one year term and is valid for up to 5 domains (only good for .com, .info, .org, .biz, .net or .co domains). Use coupon CYBER18 at checkout if you do not see it applied. Offer cannot be combined with other offers. Offer is valid until 11:59PM EST on 11/26/2018. Domains transferred out prior to one year renewal will be subject to a $20 fee per domain. Offer valid only for (1) up to 5 domain names registered with Network Solutions; and (2) Generally available domain names and not for any premium names. Fees are excluded. Renewals are excluded. Domain names are registered on a first come, first served basis. Registration of a domain name is subject to availability of such domain name for registration and Network Solutions cannot be responsible if a domain name is not available for any reason. Not bad when you can pay $20 "after" you got a successful sale.
Like dropshipping business, where you buy your stock "after" you got a prepaid order.

also remember to check www.domcomp.com
during promo times
they usually udpate prices pretty fast
so obviously not all deals will be there .. like namecheap..

but I am sure some deals will show up there..

I check that site regularly for deals... and its really useful imo.

enjoy

Yes, but might be a problem if the domain still looks promising, but remains unsold come renewal/transfer time. Experience shows this is the case with most handregged names... so, thanks NetSol, but no thanks, this time around :sneaky:
