Yeah, this is the first week in a long time that I didn't even lay down a reservation.

I foresee a weak turnout, maybe in the 60-70 range, but knowing my predictions, the results will be over 100.

I will say 81 will be grabbed.

I haven’t been in a TBR in a while. I use to be fairly active. I am finding that with a lot of these TBR names, the prices are way overpaid. Yet if you try and sell that same name on here, you wouldn’t get a bite. It’s funny how that works.

I'll guess 72 (I wanted to guess 69, but you know).

As for TBR prices, it's all over the place and I see nice names being picked up late for cheap yet other ones for for big bucks at auction and I don't see much ROI.

The domain market is a weird one, and I've picked up stuff that I was sure was going to sell, that didn't, while a few of my $1 Deals have went for 4-figures 8 months to a year later. I never buy anything I don't like, but some of it is so random.

I do try and stick to my own advice of "Treat the .CA market like the top 10% of the .COM market", which essentially means concentrating on the short, good stuff, while trying not to spend a lot getting it.

That list did not deserve 123 purchases - last week's was much better and only 81 went, and the week before that was an absolute torrent of premium names and still only 161 were taken.

A year ago I bought about 250 at WHC for two bucks each. That was a sweet deal but I know nothing cheaper than the rebel deal at the moment.

I'm guessing WHC will never have a really good promotion again... They lost big money on that $2 deal... About $40K in just a few days that I know of. I don't know what they hell they were thinking allowing unlimited transfers in at $2. Someone probably lost their job over that one. That was easily the single dumbest domain promotion I've ever seen, or will ever see again.
