Maybe I can attempt a reasonable conversation now. Seems quiet....
The world is shrinking, global communications and travel are easier than ever, developed nations have shrinking populations and sh*thole countries have booming populations. Pretty obvious that this migration problem is only going to get worse, not better.
I would like to dream of a world without borders, without nations for that matter. But right now, it just looks like masses of mostly young men with opposing values will swarm into nations that have established some degree of working civilization. They will do this until the target nation is as bad as they nation they left. Then the whole world will be a sh*thole.
This will be accelerated by the developed nations themselves, as they abandoned the values that made them developed in the first place.
I don't see any easy way to change this course, short of total collapse, plague, war... the usual housecleaners. Any ideas?
Start off by substituting leftist governments in Europe and the North America who preach and practice open borders, without even realizing the social disaster they are creating, by Right wing and Patriotic governments, through the ballot box and through Proportional Representation.
If the illegals continue to invade Europe, force the boats back to where they came from. Stop the Taxi Service by NGO boats from docking in European ports, just like Salvini is doing in Italy.
In other parts of Europe, build a wall to stop illegals.
Criminalize all those businesses that hire illegals.
Allow only LEGAL immigration
Over the past 50 years 2.3 Trillion Dollars were given to Africa in Foreign Aid. What do they have to show with all that money? Very little. Most of it landed up in the overseas bank accounts of local super corrupt officials.
In my opinion, Foreign Aid should continue to be given to these countries, with one very important difference. That Aid money should be handled only under the supervision of the donor nations. Not one cent in foreign aid should go to any African official.
I'll give a couple of examples (there are many more) of how European generosity and donations end up:
Over the years millions of mosquito nets were given to many African countries to try and combat and reduce Malaria, Deng, Encephalitis, Zika etc. These nets were supposed to be distributed free to the population with instructions on how to use them.
Well guess what... Most of these mosquito nets ended up being sold in the streets of the cities in these countries.
Another rip-off is the tons and tons of clothes and shoes that people in Europe and probably North America kindly offered to help the poor in Africa.
Once again virtually all these items ended up being sold in the streets. They never reached the poor.
That's why nowadays I don't give 1 cent to help the poor in Africa, because I know it'll end up in the pockets of corrupt officials.
IMO a very high % of foreign aid should go into education in the majority of African countries.
