I like .one extension a lot. plus I got a few offers on my .one domains lately so I am all warm fuzzy about it.

I decided to share some warmth by creating a showcase thread. it would be nice for me to hear your .one domains. who knows maybe we can even trade some.

here I go first:

  • 3-d.one
  • arcade.one
  • bookmark.one
  • copyright.one
  • dictionary.one
  • eternity.one
  • explorer.one
  • gambler.one
  • immortal.one
  • input.one
  • kinky.one
  • meta.one
  • metaverse.one
  • prototype.one
  • rep.one
  • satan.one
  • subject.one
  • terminal.one
  • torrent.one
  • virtualreality.one

and to get you more pumpted about .one, here is some great sales already, not by me:

It is my only .one at the moment...I like the extension, but somehow I missed the boat here.
waste of cash:zippermouth: useless extension in general ( with a few exceptions)

Widener, 33 pages on this thread from some committed .one investors, don't come in and trash it without some good reasoning. Go back to page 1 read up and re-evaluate. This is not extension that's easy to hate, nor is it even close to being useless.

Love the domain and logo concept but the logo itself needs a lot of work.
Thanks @MapleDots I appreciate that ! I created logo in few seconds yesterday evening, I do that for all my domains. It is more less to serve for landing page at undeveloped, no higher ambitions there :) But I know you care about logos a lot, and I wish I would have more time and energy for that, that would be ideal.

If you can still get (meaning : drop-catch) good .one domain name with standard renewal (9 USD) in 2018, do not even think about it twice. Just grab it. But chances are I will be able to grab it before you, as I have my keen eye on many of them, and so do some other members here :)

After 3 years..patiently waiting, monitoring and hoping.. was lucky to finally hand-reg:

N o v e m b e r . o n e

- reg'd on November 1
- non-premium (many other month-names .one's carry premium renewals)

Was lucky because this name was available for over 2 months. Very pleased with being able to match an EMD to an exact match reg day. I know I know..bit of a novelty nutcase..

I sold this for $3k a month or so back.

If you need the TLD to succeed, you're doing it wrong.

Showcase - Genetic.One
pro.one is pretty good, no wonder it sold nicely :)

Best out of the bunch, imo. If I had to choose just a one month .one combo, it would be January. (y)

I truly think that is a great one! :xf.wink: Really, I can see some creative person finding a great use for it, perhaps in mentoring, social awareness, or building on true as basis for truly. Best of luck with it.

~$6K yearly...

Are there any known cases where the renewal was increased while registered without dropping?
I'm not aware of that with .one but it happened to me on a different TLD, so just wanna be sure...

it shouldn't be happening on any tld

which tlds did it happen on for you specifically?

happened on two LLL .MEN domains. They were upped to $25, which does not look like a big deal, but they are are pretty much on a permanent renewal promo everywhere for $1 or $2, so we're talking a 1000%+ price increase here.

The retail price was always something like that. The $1 or so was just a promotional first year only rate. Although now that FFM TLDs under new management they no longer do first year promotions. The wholesale price is about $10 and can find renewals about $12.50.

We haven't had this happen with .one. We were actually discussing this a while back, where some .one's have went premium after the drop, but never during an active registration. I can see this happening for example to @ProDomains January and April names if he were to let them go, they are killer names. Dot-one is a stable extension, have not experienced any downside to holding names in it at all. Although we've never seen promos, the pricing is consistent and the registry doesn't pull a fast one on you with renewals or take-backs.

The retail price was always something like that. The $1 or so was just a promotional first year only rate.
You used to be able to apply the promo to multiple years renewal and go right up to 10 years. I have less than a handful in that TLD, but am renewal-free on them for a long time..
