The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
A multi million dollar acquisition should at least be done via phone/video call. Heck, I'd even invite them to visit so we can close the deal in person. All expenses covered!

Although I'm pretty sure they'd reject the whole idea since I'm assuming they are frauds, I'm wishing you a pleasant outcome.

Strange they would go for AZ.company over AZ.com haha.

This is very simple....

I have a standard response for situations like this.

I always respond back....

Thank you we are pleased to inform you we are accepting your offer. Standard procedure for our company is to ask for a 10% deposit. Please start escrow in the amount of _ _ _ _ _ to begin your transaction. Your order id number is #12345 please use this as a reference number when submitting payment. Any further discussions, or questions, may be directed to [email protected]

I will never understand why you guys discuss

start escrow

and you will know
Exactly :) When you start escrow you will soon find out whether money were sent there, or not.
Imo, no need to discuss such financial transaction on public forum. Reason is : imagine this is a real transaction indeed ... would you like to your buyer to google it and see it is wildly discussed with everyone?
If I would be buyer, I would definitely not be pleased..

Wait 49 hours and ask if offer is still good. When they respond yes then reply "well I just can't work with someone who doesn't keep their word".

Sounds unlikely. If something is too good to be true it probably is.

Say yes and keep us posted. Don't part with any money as you're selling not buying. Start escrow with buyer pays fees and use the concierge service.

The email was come from good company , also the domain have good rank .

Let's see....

1) They offered you HUGE money immediately?

2) They put pressure on you by giving an extremely narrow window in which to accept the offer?

3) You received an email from a "good company" having "good rank" in the US, yet their English language skills suck??? (Yeah, that right there by itself is a pretty good indication that the email didn't come from an actual representative of that company.)

As the saying goes, If it sound too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Sorry they got your hopes up.

GL

The email starts with the sentence "our final offer..." If you've not had any discussions with this person before about your portfolio, then therein lies your best clue that you're dealing with a scammer.

Sounds like disguieed advertising:
Your asking price for Xxxxxx.company names are in $100k+ range.
Why not making a strategy to be known? ("Let's make our product to be more powerful and expensive that it is")

No offense. I like the one.

But Nigerians are particularly notorious in such scams. They are pioneers in new scams. I have more than a thousand emails from these frauds, they think that every receiver of the email is a fool.

Dude...

That's just stereotypical BS

1. You get offered "$xx million" for your domains and you come here to see if that price is good enough? LOLLLLLLLLL

2. As @bmugford said, I think the grammer would be just a "bit" better if legit.

3. Welcome to the domain world....

As per OP, it's his whole premium portfolio on az.company, not az.company domain only. If you go to OP's website, you'll see a great list of .company domain names.

As for @Almarri.Company I believe this is a scam, but no harm replying. I always reply for fun (since I already sense scam - mainly due to the language style and poor grammar they use) to scam emails that offer to sell me domains and buy my domains. They won't normally reply me because I was being sarcastic with them most of the time.

did you respond with Yes?
I'm curious to see if they will actually tell you to pay for an appraisal or not
