I bet she thinks she can renew it , the horror .
Nice to seeing a Holo name go to mid x,xxx finally but not surprised
It ended last year in the $3k range. She didn’t believe me when I told her it auctioned. Said it wasn’t possible.

Yea , i saw 4060 hours back

That's the price I last noticed. Definitely a great name, far too good to let drop, IMO.

For her sake, I hope she can still renew it. If not, congrats to auction winner!!

Not as much as you're hoping. These sales have already been reported in prior posts...

I know , but if people look closely they see that last months are stronger for all tech including some that r not reported .

All tech, has little to do with this tech on it's own. Hard to gauge a market when it's primarily a few expired names bought by other domainers...IMO.

Let's see what the next year brings...

In a downward spiral by the looks of it.....HoloShop.com $4k ?
It’s for sale at cost already - buyers remorse I guess.

Hmm I don't agree

I see a movement in AR VR XR Holo Ai lately .
I personally made 2 sales for 12k a month ago in a subniche of those besides all reported ones .

That's neat! But you can't combine 'all tech' as you state, and make a claim that a specific niche is on the move...IMO.

Being too general yeah . I'm talking about immersive technologies

I know you were talking immersive tech, mate, as was I. My point was simply that holo shouldn't need the help or backing of ar vr xr ai, etc; to be considered moving, which was the basis of your argument. A few reposted sales of names changing hands between domainers is hardly considered movement...IMO.

Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see what the next couple of years will bring...cheers!

seeing "movement" in one space is not the same as "A movement"

i'm still very confused how holoride sold for more than holoshop
personally, i wouldn't have even hand regged holoride had i known it was even available... smh

i had a decent offer on a telematics name recently that i aimed higher for and dialogue disappeared but nothing in holo.

also of note...

i see mention of "immersive technologies"... i have:

• I.m.m.e.r.s.e.m.e.n.t (.) com

i have ad this since 2013
why am i bringing this up?

it's one of those borderline dictionary words (is that such a thing? haha) where i have seen it in use on some sites, yet not on the big guys, like Webster..etc.

recently i looked around for any usage of the word and it appears there has been some activity here as someone has trademarked the term in July of 2018.

the company who has tm'ed this is a company called Retlaw Enterprises.

from the wiki page i have found this aboutt retlaw:

"Retlaw Enterprises, originally Walt Disney Miniature Railroad, then Walt Disney, Inc. (WDI), and then WED Enterprises (WED), was a privately held company owned by the heirs of entertainment mogul Walt Disney.[3] Disney formed the company to control the rights to his name and to manage two Disneyland attractions that he personally owned. The name, Retlaw, is Walter spelled backwards"

i didn't leave a link to their website because i don't exactly want traffic coming from this page - you can direct hit them.

here is a youtube video calling it an industry onto itself:

i know i have owned the name well before their tm, however, i have read of cases where a domain owner had the name before the tm and simply renewing the name constituted 'bad faith'

thoughts.
