Give us this Day our Daily Thanks - Members Thanking Members

There are a few topics on namepros that seem to attract most of the attention, and those topics are usually the ones that have some sort of conflict going on.

I made a comment that the topics with conflict are the most popular ones and that some of the more informative topics get left behind.

Same goes for members helping members, we have such a fantastic group that will often go out of their way to help fellow members. Now I know we have a thanks feature but it hardly seems enough for some of the good things some members do for others.

So I am going to start a topic which gives thanks and credit to these members and I challenge all namepros users to participate to see if we can keep a topic without conflict on the popular section of the board.

Keep in mind the topic is about domaining and domaining related thank you's.

Let me start by thanking @Ategy.com for his lists of expiring domains. He does so tirelessly with no remuneration of any kind. Thank you Ategy (y)

Let me finish by thanking @DomainRecap for keeping the .ca TBR lists and drops updated on a weekly basis as well. (y)

Thank you so much guys, you are appreciated by all of us!!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I would like to thank @MapleDots for this great thread idea. The world needs more love and positively and I believe Frank is just that. Seems like a very positive guy.

I would also like to thank @ramkumaritrvs
He has done a couple of projects for me in the past and all I can say is wow! He is such a pleasure to deal with and never any issues with him. If you need any work done on your website, send him a message! I have even tipped him because is he so professional and courteous.

Cheers!

KeepAmericaGrateful.com. Started this awhile back and trademarked it. Non partisan, non denominational, just a reminder to us all to keep ME grateful. And, if the right buyer's out there....then... Grateful for the advice of you all!

this forum has been an amazing....but I must say I learned more from the backlash than from the praises.

I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT and thank you to my Canadian friend MetBob....sometimes I feel he's the only NamePros friend I have, but I do know better:xf.wink: I also want to thank my many critics, and Bless them, for the Bible in Romans Chapter 12 teaches me; "If your enemy is hungry, feed him: if he is thirsty, give him something to drink" Critics...I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for you truly make me a better man.

Can you expand what you mean by learning more from backlash @toughdomains? I mean if you mean that heated debate often brings out information, statistics, points, etc. that illuminate an issue, I agree. But I think that debate can, and should, be heated without becoming personal, impolite, and well rude at times.

I think NPs could be even better if we all took a more open minded approach. I find sometimes the arguments with backlash are so engrained that it is not helpful. People just want to prove they are right and the other person is wrong and are not really seeking a balanced and evidence supported truth (that is often somewhere in the middle). Anyway, would love to hear a bit more what you mean.

Bob

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all my peeps here at namepros! I have learned so much from so many of you, I'd be typing names all day, So a very special thanks and much love goes out to you (you know who you are)!

And thanks to everyone here, because without input (good or bad), I would not have learned as much as I have.

I also want to thank my many critics, and Bless them, for the Bible in Romans Chapter 12 teaches me; "If your enemy is hungry, feed him: if he is thirsty, give him something to drink"

In my opinion, this sums it all up- thanks @Bulloney!

We all need to help each other, and be tolerant of others' opinions and views, whether or not they coincide with our own- we are all just trying to be well and get ahead.

Peace Y'all!

Ali

I want to thank everyone in this forum for their contribution.

I also want to thank NAMEPROS, for providing such a gr8 platform and all its moderators. Without them it wouldnt have been possible. Special thanks to @Eric Lyon for resolving every matter.

I want to thank @wwwulff for inspiring me to get into brandables.

I want to thank @Joe Styler for being there always and resolving every one of the issues with godaddy.

I am sure there are many more, cant thank all of you enough and thanks @MapleDots for starting this thread.

Thanks to @MapleDots for starting this thread.

I have learned so much from so many in the last 10 years I couldn't possibly name them all. So many here give so selflessly of their time, talents and criticism.

I would like to thank @NamePros , @Eric Lyon and @Amanda for creating and keeping safe and pleasurable environment where we can exchange our ideas. I really appreciate that rules are here for everyone and are enforced equally to all. This is something what definitely should not be taken for granted, as there is lot of human effort behind it.

As a new gTLD investor I appreciate that forum and many of its members became much more accomodative to this type of investment, and we can discuss this in peace here (with some exceptions. but all in very acceptable level as of recently, imo).

I would like to thank @MetBob for bringing lot of numbers and statistics into discussion about new gTLDs. Instead of emotional statements repeated by some members "they are all dead" and "everything except .com is pigeon sh*t" we are now learning that success largely depends on the quality of the name, and registry management of particular extension, and there hard numbers and statistics supporting that.
So ..Thank you :)

Bob

this is exactly what I was referring to
" I mean if you mean that heated debate often brings out information, statistics, points, etc. that illuminate an issue, I agree"

I also think the uniqueness of this forum are the personal human reactions. the passion of those comments is what drives the valuable discussions.
Without passion, backlash, banter, insistence...there is little insight.
Defend your point (with excessive passion)...until proven wrong

Wanted to give domainers a reminder to give kudos to other members for helping them.

A lot of members on namepros give their time selflessly and a shout out or thank you is always appreciated.

A big thanks to all the PRO members who try time and again to guide the newer members (y)

Somehow I missed this thread at the time it was created. I thank all 'powerusers' as you make sure there's some interesting posts to go through each and every single day.

In special I'd like to thank @Joe Styler @jberryhill @Rob Monster for clearing time in their (daily) schedule to engage here in a contributing manner. Love them or hate them, they bring a vast amount of knowledge to this forum. Thank you for putting up with us ;)

Lastly thanks to @God and @Jesus ... Whoever you are :)

I think @barman deserves a little shout out.....I see him in the appraisal section all the time giving no nonsense feedback on the names listed there.

He might be blunt, but it is good honest, constructive feedback that cuts through the BS and he does it free of charge 👌

I really would like to thank @equity78 He puts so much energy into NamePros, keeps us informed on things that are happening, takes a logical balanced and reasoned approach in opinions, has a great knowledge of history of domaining (that may help us prevent some of the mistakes of the past) and is positive in his interactions. He also has numerous great ideas for threads and polls, such as this one you should vote in!

Thank you @equity78 ! (y)

A special thank (in addition to those I have offered earlier in this thread) to @lolwarrior. He puts so much energy into things the the valuation thread, and I love the evidence-based approach he takes to that.

Glad that your thread has become reactivated @MapleDots and thanks again for starting this and so many other great threads.

I wanted to thank all those who take that tiny extra bit of effort to thank and like posts. It might not seem important, but I think it is. I mentioned @briguy earlier in the thread, but within the context of this paragraph did you know that he has given 52,858 likes plus 12,677 thanks!?! (y) If you want to see who else has done a lot of thanking and liking you can here: https://www.namepros.com/members/?type=liked

Thanks again everyone!
