advice Local domainers helping foreign domainers to reach potential customers

Hi everyone!

I just wanna know your opinion about local domainers helping foreign domainers reach potential customers when it's about reaching through phone call.

Sometimes it is difficult to reach the potential customer via phone eventhough we have their mobile number. In some cases a phone call could do more than what an email could in an outbound, but the problem is the language and some might struggle to deliver their message properly via calls and it becomes too difficult when the customer doesn't wanna talk to a foreign guy who want to get money out of his pocket through a cold call.

What i wanna suggest is to create a thread and fellow interested domainers post their country and their interest in helping other domainers reach a local business through phone call, provided the end user's contact number and content to talk. Domain owner will contact the person from particular country via dm and shall explain what needs to be done. Prefence for each requests can be agreed upon between the two people.

Benefits:
1) Outbound call will be more effective in acheiving a sale.

2) Customers tend to listen if the person talking about domain name is a localite and could make better progress than a foreign seller.

3) relationships between the domainer and caller might turnout to be a brokerage.

4) customers best understand the importance of using a good domain name when it is explained in detail and will be easier for them, if explained in local language.

5) timing of calls can be easily managed as the time of caller and potential customer are same. Content can be effectively explained if you are not feeling sleepy/tired when explaining something so important.

Disadvantages:
1) Our caller might not exactly explain what we want to deliver. I mean not as good as we explain it with passion for that particular domain name.

2) Some might hesitate to spend the charges for calls made for the benefit of other person. (Excluding free calls like jio and others)

3) people might not be interested if they had to do the call but will not get anything in return unless the deal changes to a brokerage.


I wanted this help because i made few phone calls and was not successful in explaining things to the customer ( one guy just cut the call before my 'hi', saying 'why are you calling me from india?, please don't call').

Those are the benefits and disadvantages i see. Please discuss your opinion in the comments.
