Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

A Beekeeper has Trained Bees to Make Honey from Cannabis Resin"

Thanks Dude. I'm a chick though. :)
Lol...so "Mistress" is a female term!

Now, this kind of revenue should encourage more states to jump on the bandwagon....

"Colorado's marijuana industry continued to break records in August, according to the state's Department of Revenue, with legal marijuana sales bringing in over $141.3 million that month. The previous record had been set just the month before.

Sales began to rev up in June, DOR data shows, when overall dispensary revenues hit $129.5 million after a slow start to the year. Even more money was spent on pot in July, when the industry brought in a then-record $138.5 million, just beating out August 2017 for the highest monthly total since recreational marijuana sales began in January 2014

Just read another interesting article...

San Diego company testing marijuana-derived multiple sclerosis therapy
Emerald Health Pharmaceuticals of San Diego has begun using a marijuana-derived therapy to experimentally treat small numbers of people who suffer from multiple sclerosis and scleroderma, a pair of autoimmune diseases.

The small, phase 1 safety trial involves CBD, a compound found in marijuana. CBD has caught the attention of researchers because it does not get people high, and it has anti-inflammatory properties.

The problem with regionals is to understand state by state regulations.

Example Bostonleaf, it's a 3 year plan. And that's with a ballot intuitive that passed with flying colors.

I'm currently in Ohio, they handed out 11? Permits. I'll be old and grey before BuckeyeCanna sells. Not to be a downer but once the governor is gone, and say a legislative change is made that would be at best a 2020 rollout. And only Vermont and Oaklahoma has achieved a legislative win. Most are ballot based, that takes even longer.

Florida is the biggest fools gold on domains. They handed out 13 permitts. Each holder gets a county and a dozen stores under a single brand. And only CBD oils with branding on either A ( one ) product line or a few oils at best. Their big money and can use brandables. That being said one of the permitts was bought by ianthus for 53 million last week, they are going into a brandable looking for ownership of both brand and verticle growth metrics.

Oaklahoma was only a home grow intuitive also. 0 stores or products. I think I have Oaklahoma Canna. Being a red state I was shocked at any Cannabis intuitive passing. ROI on Oaklahoma 5 years at a minimum.

One can have regionals but with local knowledge. I do own a bunch of California domains. Thank you Carol I saw she saw Calileaf sell for $2200, i have the reverse. Problem is I'm a East Coast person with little understanding of both policy and county by county rollouts that is how California is doing things.

Hope I'm helping, and not confusing things . The its complicated is especially true on the subject of regionals in cannabis.

The lack of a cohesive approach towards cannabis regulation
I was interested in what you posted before about mapping leaf stuff. Seems canna property is a thing - these are live sites:

BTW I hope this bit does not get zapped for being off topic, but I want to welcome the new members here and say how much I appreciate the info and humour all you people provide. Oh and I eat hempseed almost every day.

funny story....my family has been eating hempseed/hearts as a topping on top of fruit and yogurt bowls for 25+ years but I never looked at the package so I didn't know they were cannabis seeds until 2007. I totally thought they were just some type of softer nut or in the quinoa or granola family....

ok, maybe not that funny.

Pretty sure there is no THC content in the seeds..it is once they start to sprout do they develpe THC (the chemical that gets you high!)

It wasn't till recently (in my neck of the woods) that you could get "Oriental" poppy seeds (fail a drug test) on donuts (doughnuts) ...
"But in fact it’s well documented that eating poppy seeds, which are commonly used in muffins, bread and bagels, can be enough to trigger a positive reading for the opiate morphine."

Interesting story from VB...I lost electricity for 48 hours when hurricane Michael exited land and went back to sea last Thursday night. It wasn't predicted, but we had 72 mph winds that made for a pretty big mess in my area. I do have a generator that helped, but there was a lot of time to dream up all sorts of "incredible" names. For the Marijuana/Cannabis/Hemp/CBD/Weed etc. I registered just two names;

IncredibleLeaf(.)com
and
IncredibleHigh(.)com

I also found time to share with some of my peers two of my favorite domains from this industry;

TacoJuana(.)com
and
DoobieDiner(.)com

When hearing about the two domains I originated, I thought friends and peers would die laughing. They especially couldn't believe TacoJuana(.)com that's become the leading domain in my new portfolio. I own just a little over a hundred industry specific domains, but I think I will continue to add as long as some good names are still available.

Have a great week everyone!

Nice. What was the original reg date?

2015-07-26

Was actually loitering at the closeout auctions to keep the old reg date but it didn't make the list. It was available for backorder for the past 5 days though but I decided to take the risk. That's $70 saved so I'm already in profit if you think of it this way.

Sale on Namebio today, not me

marijuanavaporizers.com 1,522 USD 2018-10-14 GoDaddy

Meanwhile vaporizer was free in dotme.

More about cannabis and property here - looking for high real estate values

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-45788532

Ron Throgmartin admits he is "not a marijuana smoker", but as a businessman he sees an opportunity in commercial cannabis real estate.

He ran his own property firm for 20 years and is now chief executive of Diego Pellicer. The firm develops and leases property for marijuana businesses and has just opened its second US retail outlet with the help of designer Jill Savini, former creative director of the original Apple store.

It's about end users. Especially on brandables that no one yet has shown me a site that assists in such a difficult endeavour. Although I've seen some awesome stuff here. Loved CBDagri (.? ) the tractor one. I have $xx,xxx .com agri inventories

Cbdagri
Cbdagriculture
Cbdagricultural
All in .com

I have the set if anyone knows a buyer.

I would love to see a reseller " kieth ? " set up a site that included more than just a list of words. A interactive site people ( endusers in cannabis )could explore different branding and word options as the decide on their company name and brand once they get a permit and or liscence.

I started with leafdomains.com
It's only half inventoried and is too skewed twords Leaf. I also lost interest. Did it a two years ago also, haven't fixed it since. My day job is on agri environmental equipment.

Domains are not my true living, and I can't nor do I have the coding ability nor the understanding of wix and adobe.

Read a article that wouldn't link. It's a connection between pharma and farming.
Google hydroponics Australia it comes up today. Fyi this is a new frontier. Pharma doesn't as a rule work with anything other than synthetics. Their main focus is on chemical compounds synthetically produced.

Farm
Farming
Farmer
Cultivate
Grow
Grown
Grower

Pharma
Med
Medicinal

Yes and no IMO ..depends on the keyword

Yes Yahoo it wouldn’t makes since that’s a brand

Car-car is parked and probably earning some revenue .

A “Product” is a litter different , like the 2 sites I shared ...really depends on what the enduser is looking for too. I don’t think it hurt to take my chances on this one.
