NetSol has a $1 .com and a few other extensions promo right now. Probably will end soon.

The thread is on this forum with the info near the end for current link.

I know @creataweb is trying to help (his heart is in the right place) but netsol is probably THE worst registrar out there. Good luck when you need to move a domain you have sold. It takes 3 days just to get the transfer code.

There are better choices and if you cannot find cheaper then it's better to pay more than to EVER buy from netsol.

Netsol takes domains out of people's accounts without telling them. If you want cheap domains try other extensions, maybe .xyz

Yes buyer beware, seems like the majority had them taken in May for some reason (glitch? IDK) and the others I am not sure. But I def. would not recommend .xyz over .com, just flushing the money in that case.

There have been long-registered domains that sold for five figure sums that Netsol took out of people's accounts without telling them - there are several threads about that here. If you registered domains at Netsol for someone else and then the domains disappeared how would you explain that?

Yeah, but the $38 renewal there for .com and the transfer-out fee barely makes it worth it

I wouldn't renew them there either. I am not aware of any transfer fee needing to be paid and pretty sure I saw a few here who sold names from this deal and are not paying a fee for that. I'd just make the buyer get a NetSol account and do an account change anyway, or let Undeveloped.com handle the transaction via push.

Now I am aware that 1&1 does charge fees for all sorts of things and would never buy a name with them. That is certainly not worth the headache.

I would advise nobody to build a .xyz portfolio unless you really know what you are doing.

Thank you for your concern. The domains I am buying there I intend to host websites on them and push the traffic to another site. I don't intend to sell the domains so I hope I am safe.

There is always a limit and in this case it is how much BS can you put up with before you decide to get the heck out of town and leave netsol. That is when the true fun starts. Sell a domain and have someone ask you for the transfer code..... wait..... wait..... o yeah it takes 3 days and netsol clearly says they decide if they decide to give it to you. They make you feel like a little boy asking for permission to take money out of your bank account.

It will be fun to see responses back in a few months after some of you have dealt with netsol.

Have we even talked control panel yet..... o yes you mean that sorry excuse that exists for one purpose and that is to hook you into another crazy upsell.

Good luck with netsol!!!!!!

If they decide to give it to you? Seems like a complaint to ICANN would be needed if they won’t let you transfer out Day 61 and beyond. I will be posting my results when I initiate transfers in a few months.

They denied repeated requests for me to move out domains, then the begging emails, the are you sure, the please come back, the I'll hid all the transfer tools in convoluted parts of the control panel.

Yikes

Here is a communication to my registrar after 4 failed attempts to transfer out of Netsol

to CanSpace

Just signed back in to network solutions and they made me fill out a whole form to be able to request a transfer code. They then said if I am approved they will email it within 3 days.

I swear this is the most convoluted company I have ever dealt with in my life. They will do anything to prevent a transfer out, it took me 10 minutes of searching to even be able to get to the page of the transfer code. Then it was are you sure, we will give you this offer etc etc etc

Just transfer my domain..... my god how hard is that!!! what a bunch of nimrods.

I have over 1000 domains at 4 carriers and I have NEVER seen such an inept control panel in my life.

So sorry about the rant Michael, please forgive me but I just saw red when these idiots said up to 3 days to get approved for a transfer code.

I'll email as soon as I get it.
