This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I first listed it on Afternic, and then opted in as usual via the link in the email the registrar sent out.
Afternic does not approve domains registered less than 60 days ago. as far as I know.

Also regarding efty marketplace, I have had a few people find it and buy.

I sold 2 names to the same buyer who inquired about both searching my marketplace. $7,500 a piece.

I have just in the last few days started forwarding my domains to my marketplace rather than the landing pages.

Example http://www.FoodGrade.com
Were they handreg? Hold Time please

Venue: Flippa
Domain was auctioned at Dynadot last year. Somebody won the auction and I was the second at $25. Highest bidder did not pay and so Dynadot sent me a message informing that I'm the new auction winner. Gladly paid and renewed once before finally being sold.

That is a very direct TM imfringement, lucky you got rid of it.
Yes, you're right. I was registered bunch of .co domains during the promo. All are high CPC domains and have search volume. I have removed all TM domains but I missed this domain so it also got registered.

I have received an inquiry for the name then I realized that it has a trademark. I replied to the buyer and mentioned that I don't have an intention to sell and planning to develop but will consider the right offer to sell.

He requested a quote and I have offered him for $499 USD( I usually quote minimum xxxx amount but it has a trademark and wanted to get rid of it)

He replied with $300 USD. I have asked to add another 20 USD for transaction fee then deal closed.

Domain name: m || e || m || o || m || i (dot) com
Sale venue: Escrow.com
Listing type: Outbound
Sale price: $7.5k (buyer paid escrow fees)
Purchase venue: Godaddy expiring auctions (Jul 4th 2018) (3 months)
Purchase price: $280
Details: I quoted 12.5k initially. But the buyer was pretty firm at 5k. After several emails we agreed on 7.5k. It's a pretty established business and they had trademarks also (even though TM was in abandoned status.) Buyer was nice and I wanted to quick flip cos I was afraid of TM issues, so we agreed on this price. (I created a TM help thread in namepros right after I bought it. View it here.)

Just one. One email and the owner replied "Interested, Let's talk.” After the sale he told me he tried to aquire the name from previous owner 6 years ago and they refused to sell it. Also he contacted that company recently too. He asked me how did I get the name. (Previous owners forgot to renew) I’m sure I left money on the table. But I’m happy with the sale, I didn’t want to lose the domain and money both due to TM issues. It was one lucky sale.
