Doesn't mean you would've sold it :xf.wink:
It was outbound.

If you run a large list of US cities as a prefix ( I have done lists of 300), using the words "courier", "couriers" and "courierservices", you will find more than 50% are not registered. So, unless you intend to outbound specific cities, I wouldnt bother.

On the other hand using positive single-word prefixes to "courier/couriers" might be a good investment.

You hand register and do outbound for the domain name or else, forget it!

I specifically wanted to register this domain (and a few other ones, which now also registered by others :D) to do outbound, but I hesitated :) I never had luck with outbound, I'm more of a waiting-until-my-brandable-domains-sell type of domainer :)

I think the 60 day story has more to do with the Afternic fast-transfer program as they can't fast-transfer before 60 days

Yep. If your domain is a fresh reg (or a dropcatch, same thing), and you list it on Afternic, they will list it for sale immediately. If it's regged at one of their 'partner' registrars, it will qualify for their fast-transfer and they will send you an email telling you so. But the email that asks you to Affirm the fast-transfer listing won't be sent to you until after the 60-day transfer-lock period.

In short: yes it can be listed on Afternic right away after you reg it, but it won't be listed in their fast-transfer system and affiliates until that 60 day period lapses and you affirm the email they send you at that time.

I know mods are gonna clean up all this nice info since it's veered off-topic, so hope you read this in time. Though it's off-topic, it's still relevant and instructional to many, so I'm posting this rather than PMing you :)

@Bannen, if the last several pages are any indication, nothing is done with this thread... removal of this post will be a positive sign

Not true. When I list my NetSol handregs on Afternic with a BIN price, I get the fast-transfer opt-in email the following day.

I do too, when I hand reg a domain at Godaddy and list it on Afternic. I get the fast-transfer email within an hour or a day or so... but it's not the 'Affirm' email. It's the email telling me that the domain qualifies for fast-transfer and that I'll be receiving an Affirm email to do so. The actual Affirm email does not get sent to me until 60 days later.

Or do you mean you actually get the Affirm email, and it actually gets listed in the fast-transfer network, the next day, with a Netsol hand reg? If so, I wonder why the discrepancy... Godaddy owns Afternic; you'd think if anything, they'd streamline the process for a Godaddy hand reg, not a Netsol hand reg...

Also, not sure it makes sense: a hand reg cannot be transferred to another registrar for 60 days, period, per ICANN regulation. So the fast-transfer simply could not apply, it could only apply if a domain is to be pushed to the same registrar...

Yes, I do get the actual fast-transfer email the next day (what you call the Affirm email). I sold one domain 9 days after registration via Afternic fast transfer. The exact wording was "via Fast Transfer through our DLS Network.".

But for some reason NetSol sent me the buyers receipt. So I guess it was actually a NetSol customer that purchased the domain. Maybe that's why it worked?
