Hi my name is Jim and I am new to the scene! I have a couple of domains I would like to sell. I would appreciate any advice you may have. This is the first time I have tried to sell a domain! I am not sure which of the auction sections to place it in! make offer, fixed price etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all of you!

Hi Jim, Welcome to NP. You can post your domain in appraisal section and get all the necessary advice. All the best.

The most important thing: don't post the sales threads in the Buyer Requests!

Hi, @JB524! Welcome to NP. You can also try listing your domains free on SEDO, AfterNic, Undeveloped, Unregistry. Takes some time though. And patience, as previously stated.

Hello @JB524 .. and welcome to NamePros! :)

I saw your listing, and I suggest you really take time to learn as much as you can about domains before going to much further. Domains with hyphens have dropped to almost zero value (the exceptions are rare). Just to give you an idea, the domain listed at $16,000 I wouldn't even have considered buying at $5 closeout. $16 for that domain is overpriced by about 25x even at extreme best case end user scenario .. and even at that price I'd say the chance of you ever selling it is almost zero.

Don't be too frustrated though .. just about every starting domainer gets some things wrong when they start .. the key is to learn as fast as you can before your bank account runs out! ;)

Anyhow .. best of luck to you! :)
