I always take any sale on park.io with a pinch of salt...

Wait a minute. It is not $6700? It has one more zero? Then, yes the seller was very lucky. But the name is very good. .io shines again!

Generic .io names are having a huge comeback because of the tech and crypto sectors. If the buyer is a large company in either of those industries then $67k might be just a tiny expense for them. Nice sale for both parties.

Sell your domain to yourself at your platform and then any price becomes possible. This is just a guess, time may tell, I'm not against it, I hope park.info and park.biz sell some domains as well.

Lucky.io is awesome - $67K is shortchange for a multi-billionaire who likes a lucky charm online.

Digital.IO is probably one of the best .IO domains with the whole digital input/output..
Wishing you a huge sale & keep breaking records - lets go for 100K+
Good Luck

Only @ park.io : I think digital.io will worth a lot of bucks if you know what I mean. If only a price tag is what thou seeketh...

I don't understand that people spend so much money on .io names.
To me .io is some kind of mystery.

.io is having regular sales.

we all know tech etc startups love it.

this obviously is a super high .io sale.. I think its #1 biggest on namebio

no one here would pay this money for it.. but thats fine cause no one here is really an enduser either.

whereas startups... or just flithy rich enduser .. they often don't really care if its 10k or 100k

lets see how it gets used.

To me .io is some kind of mystery.
“if all those people who are investing time in a startup choose for .io then this must have a reason. Several reasons are mentioned on the web:

– input/output
– i and o next to each other on keyboard
– 2 letters
– Trust worthy UK
– recognizable sound e.g rad/io, b/io etc

I wanna add something to this list which is more an artistic intuitive feeling than a solid argument. The existing of so many fine crafted .io startups does influences the reputation of this extension. I don’t know if the market shares my feelings but I would describe them as:

– pure
– craftwork
– friendly
– simple
– mobile proof
– personal, personal, personal” Freddie Compier

I know you’re promoting your domain and all but I’ll be shocked if it’s a crypto co. The domain moved to name.com and I don’t see a multi million dollar company going that route. Let’s see...

So true. Mike can bid up anyone on any given domain and keep it for registration cost or take the sale.

I’m going to create a thread and partner with someone who can beat his software to catch deleting .io

PM me right away if you want to compete with park.io. We’ll make a fortune.

Could you tell me more about this? Who's Mike? Mike Mann?

Dot .io is kind of a funny extension to me. It means absolutely nothing to the consumer. But the tech guys like it and in their little bubble give it value, which brings domain investors and Park into the cycle.

If my company is looking for a service site and they are called "Lucky" or "Bobcat". Will I give a crap if they are Lucky.io, Lucky.ai, Lucky.ly, Lucky.sh or Lucky.co?

Nope. Infact outside of .com, .co would probably inspire the most confidence.
