McConnell on now live. Good work Republicans, keep it up. Smear the potential victims.

Again, why are you so slow? I'm saying the exact thing I said at the beginning, the logical thing. Hear both sides out, then decide.

Stating facts isn't a smear.

The only person who hasn't made a statement, under oath in Judge Kanvanaugh case is the accuser. All her witnesses signed statements, under oath, denying her accusation.

She and her lawyers continue to make excuses for not doing so.

"Mitch McConnell, the man who blocked Merrick Garland from getting onto the Supreme Court, says Democrats have a strategy of β€œdelay, obstruct and resist.”

Using parliamentary rules can't compare the the circus the democrat have put on. OR accusing a man of attempted rape after the confirmation hearing has ended to prevent a vote.

We have seen this movie before with McConnell in the Senator Packwood case where Packwood harassed multiple women. Mitch McConnell defended him until it became too painful – when the 21st woman came out he folded. Watch this space as they say.
Barbara Boxer‏Verified account @BarbaraBoxer 8m8 minutes ago

In 1995 Clinton was having sex with an intern and Sen. Boxer defended him. 'No one cares" was the narrative.

In 1995, Mitch McConnell helped force Sen. Packwood to resign AFTER an ethics investigation. That's the way it's supposed to work.

NY Times:
"These were not merely stolen kisses, as Senator Packwood has claimed," Senator Mitch McConnell, chairman of the Ethics Committee, said in describing Mr. Packwood's "physical coercion" of toward women. "There was a habitual pattern of aggressive, blatantly sexual advances, mostly directed at members of his own staff or others whose livelihoods were connected in some way to his power and authority as a Senator."

"Packwood's behaviour included "deliberately altering and destroying relevant portions of his diary" which Packwood himself had written in the diary were "very incriminating information".

Dear Democrats,

This is the woman who will be nominated and appointed if Kavanaugh is not confirmed.

Even more conservative than Kavanaugh. She'll be appointed during a recess and then confirmed while on the bench.

Thanks for playing scumbags.

Love Mitch McConnell. ( probably )

Two Kavanaugh Allies Withdraw From Statement Disputing New Yorker Allegation

This story was updated with comments from two former classmates of Kavanaugh, Louisa Garry and Dino Ewing, who initially signed a statement of support for Kavanaugh provided by his attorneys. They approached The New Yorker after this story was published and asked that their names be removed from the statement, saying that they did not wish to dispute Ramirez’s claims.

What Happened To Brett Kavanaugh Booster Louisa Garry?

By now, it's unlikely anyone has missed Brett Kavanaugh friend Louisa Garry's ad extolling all his virtues, since the Judicial Crisis Network ran it on a near blanket basis all last week on cable networks. Garry endorsed Kavanaugh as a good guy, a basketball coach, a friend.

Today, Garry withdrew her signature from that statement which originated with Kavanaugh's lawyers. β€œI never saw or heard anything like this,” Garry told The New Yorker. β€œBut I cannot dispute Ramirez’s allegations, as I was not present.”

Kavanaugh nomination is in trouble. That's why McConnell made blistering speech today. Baseball teams mail it in once they are out of pennant race. McConnell trying to get GOPers to run out out every ground ball in effort to salvage nomination. Kavanaugh lacks the votes right now

Rand Paul Wants to Scrap Some U.S. Sanctions on Russia
The senator will introduce a bill to lift U.S. sanctions on Russian lawmakers if the Kremlin does the same for U.S. lawmakers, The Daily Beast has learned.

Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh was a virgin for many years after high school. But he claimed otherwise in a conversation with me during our freshman year in Lawrance Hall at Yale, in the living room of my suite.

More likely tired of being harassed by left-wing terrorist.

The thing is the more come forward the more plausible it becomes...these women aren’t getting anything positive out of this. Unless you consider public abuse, slut shaming and death threats β€œpositive.”

I think we’re up to 4 now, and one of them yet to be named allegedly has witnesses who will talk, possibly evidence.

β€œYou said in your letter that you intend to provide a β€˜fair and credible’ process ... Yet earlier today, the Majority Leader dismissed Dr. Ford’s experience as a β€˜smear campaign,’ claiming mistakenly that the witnesses’ statements to the Committee constitute β€˜a complete lack of evidence,’ implying that there has been a thorough investigation,” the letter read.

Same with Trump.

Same with Trump.

1) Mitch McConnell isn't on the Judiciary Committee.

2) Mitch McConnell and President Trump are correct. Scumbag lawyers for Ford never had any intention of having her testify.

3) Kavanaugh will be confirmed over the weekend.

P.S. Democrats actually on the Judiciary Committee have said much worse about Kavanaugh.

They both should have kept their mouths shut. You talk like that, then flip and say you want to be fair. Jeckyll and Hyde type stuff.

Mitch and Donald are pumping up the base, encouraging other R's. Democrats will scream, make crazy accusations no matter what. Would have been better if Grassley had issued a subpoena and had a private hearing.

CB Ford isn't credible because there is no proof and her witnesses don't support her. Maybe something happened, lawyers / hustlers are taking advantage. IMO, Ford is lying.

I hope those temp officers were at least punished in some way, even if there were no criminal charges. From what I saw, it looked like there was wrong-doing on both sides. She was being a little snot, but punching her was totally uncalled for.

They weren't. And one of the big problems I see with Americans these days is to excuse police thuggery by saying the victim should have been "more compliant."

In this case, they were not both wrong. She had no obligation to be sweet and obedient to two goons who started harassing her while she was laying peacefully on a beach with her daughter. She is a citizen, and the goons are paid professionals, paid by the taxes of the citizens they are supposed to serve (not harass).

Yet, Americans have flipped this on its head, and now the police, the paid civil servants, are the masters we must obey. This is perverse, and one reason the country is becoming a police state. Professionals who are paid to keep the peace should be able to do just that - keep the peace. Instead, they get rattled by a woman who doesn't bow down and follow their every command, end up manhandling her, arresting her, traumatizing her daughter, and now charging her with an imprisonable offense that may cause her daughter to lose her mother. All over sitting near an unopened can of beer.

And Americans really think they are free?

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers, all from the freshman class, have released a plan to impose term limits on members of Congress.

12 year limit, would require an amendment to the constitution. Proposal was introduced by Ko Kahana a freshmen represenative from California.

the country is becoming a police state.
You're doing a "GILSAN" - taking one incident that represents 0.01% of what happens every day and interpreting it to assume that it represents 99.99% of the way things are.
Those guys weren't even regular officers. MOST officers in MOST precincts do their jobs properly. I know a few (retired and active). There are bad cops, there are bad precincts, but you can't paint everyone with the same brush.
Percentage of abuse of power is probably higher against POC in some areas however. Been that way for decades unfortunately.
Failure to comply with a police officer is a misdemeanor in most places. I have better things to do than re-read and look at the exact complaints they filed against her though.
ICE is looking like more and more like "police state" group though, and that's concerning.

CB Ford has three gossip buddies and her husband to corroborate her story. That's not corroboration, it's just people repeating what you said.

I wonder why Ford's family hasn't supported her claims.

Accuser #3 has a face and a name. And a sworn affidavit as both a witness and a victim.

4chan is the king of fake news. Anyone who believes that (or Breitbart, or Drudge or ...), or photoshopped fake tweets by Bill Mitchell is a fool.
