The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It's short and clever. GD says its worth $354.
You might try putting it up for mid $xxx and let it sit for a few months. Try to get some analytics or visitor info to see if there is interest before changing the price.

I like the play with a different spelling but sounding like a high value word. Some would point out radio test issues, but I could well see this being used by some company. The .ME extension has had a pretty decent year, with 96 sales 2018 YTD in NameBio with average price of $910 (although the more relevant median price is $297). I tried to find an alternative spelling close comparator, unsuccessfully. The name TehMovies in .me sold for $526 (surprises me), while aspir(.)me for $306. I would probably list this somewhere in the sweet spot for instant purchases ($300 to $499) and hope you can find a buyer. I couldn't find any sales of exactly payd, although paydoo in com sold for $9800. Best of luck with it!

I dont want to be negative, and I am not a pro, but I dont see here value.
It is a typo domain with .me extension, not even .com
I dont see why company in financial niche would build thier website on a typo domain.
Anyway, what is "paid me" means?
Who paid? And why the financial company or agency must be named "paid me"?

You might be right. But then there is a company called "Square" that does payments. What does "square" have to do with money ?

What does "GoDaddy" have to do with domains ?
What does "Uber" have to do with taxis ?
What does "DuckDuckGo" have to do with search engines ?
What does "Flipp" have to do with groceries ?

Payd is a play on "pay" and "paid". The ".me" is becoming popular with the instant gratification crowd (my people call them millenials).

Keep an open mind, you might be the domain owner of the next "Amazon" or "Yahoo".

@NYJimbo, too much "maybe".
Big and serious business will not use .me extension, especially bought one.
Maybe handreg as alternative.
Ok, store, magazine, financial company, car rent, blog.. Why then have to buy brandable typo .me?
Amazon, Yahoo, Uber etc have .com
How can you know why somebody bought .me domain? You just read namebio.com report, but you cant know what is behind the specific sale?
I saw a very weird domain sold for xx,xxx and the seller and buyer had russian surname. I checked this domain in a few months and it was dropped. The domain had no sense in any of languages. They just needed to white money.

Big and serious businesses would never call themselves "GoDaddy".

Ok, so you dont agree with the possibilities. Thanks for playing.

@moegoe2, I dont know why these guys try to make you lose money on useless renewals.
I advice you dont pay attention and stop dreaming.
Just check 4L.com sales, a lot of 4L.com are sold for mid xxx or less.
So why someone will pay you mid xxx or more for .me if they could buy some 4L.com?
Drop it and focus on .com
By the way, offer payd.me to @NYJimbo and @mr-x, sure they would pay you mid xxx for this domain with great future

And I want to repeat again very important point.
Domaining is a great for to white money, you handreg useless domain or buy mid xxx domain, auction it and you business partner buy it. So, you have legal money.
A lot of weird high value sales can be explained this way.
So, never made conclusion on just reports, turn on your brain, there is no chance to sell 4L.me domain for mid xxx, not even for mid xx. Especially if it looks like typo.

And I want to repeat again .....
You know this thread is just to appraise a domain a guy already bought, right ? Just give him an opinion on what he can do with it ?

No need to go "critical mass" and start debating domaining techniques or getting into "white money" laundering or whatever you are doing.

I think I will move on to the next thread. Have a nice day.

I don't know about money laundering, but a 4 letter .me isn't the worst name I've appraised.

You made your your appraisal basing on namebio reports, so I explain you why some some weird domains are sold for x,xxx or xx,xxx.

Funny. My rasonable opinion was just named feedback.
And fantasy and non-realistic but positive opinions were named "appraisals" and got respect.
Well, keep and renewal all weird .me domains. More non profin domains and crap you buy, more quick you leave domaining, and will stop bothering to old "profi" in thier business.

No value.

in 99.9% of cases getting creative works with .com (not always either).

Payd.com would be good brand, Payd/me - not so much.

Why would anyone pay large amount of money for it, if you can still get dictionary words for reg fee or from closeouts?

Also, there are only so many payment companies and .me in their case does not make much sense with maybe few exceptions of pay/me paid/me paying/me pays/me etc.

Anyway, a piece of advice you've never heard on this forum:

when in doubt, stick to .com :-D

I can't believe some of these comments. Maybe if it was a .com it would have some value.

I don't see any value here.

.me has been dropping in value, a future look at new gltd prices.

This year alone, you have first names, countries, cities, states selling for less that $500:

england.me 404 USD
steven.me 435 USD
saigon.me 109 USD
vacationrentals.me 274 USD
atlanta.me 390 USD
nevada.me256 USD

If it was paid.me, maybe some value but misspelling, brandables in .me?

While the average prices of .me have been pretty constant last 3 years ($867,$858,$920) they are less than 4 and 5 years ago (average $1210 over 5 years). Average prices may be deceiving us, however, since some single letters went for a lot.

The names @JB Lions provides are indeed sobering - some great names not going for much.

It seems, other than single letter, the excellent prices largely come from things like the big sale of mentor.me where the extension adds to the word.

I have trouble finding enough suggesting brandable prices to have much confidence, which is probably the reason for the debate and range here. I communicated by private message to the OP that after further thought my estimate would probably be lower.

I think it is still possible that it will sell for the higher range some propose, but I also am persuaded by the arguments of those that say no. If anything, it convinces me even more that appraisals, particularly in extensions that have some history but nothing on scale of com/net/org are very inexact.

For a brandable com is obviously way better, and after that I would say that co and io are better than me. I like me for geographical and personal name use, although it seems even there low $$$ is the order of the day lately.

I've sold all of my .me ccTLD's a few years ago. Complimentary words do better, i.e. fire.me, tag.me.

09/2018
javgo.me 1,900 USD
stream-tv.me 953 USD
mentor.me 5,600 USD
contract.me 431 USD <------ that person got a good deal.

Remember, many of the prices listed on Namebio.com are drops / auctions.

FYI. Hexonet is having a sale on .me
