jc ... do u have your dns pointing to them?

I recently was told it can increase your %sales.. but obviously, its more just for accurate stats and graphs and all that.. as there is no direct relation to better sales ratio from having dns point to them.

at least none I can think of. I currently just forward to their sale lander via redirect.. and without the search bar on top.. now that imo can have an impact on sale/lead ratios.. having the searchbar vs not having it

so I make sure not to show it

While the primary determinant in any domain sale is the desire of the buyer - a simple, clear, seamless UI/UX experience will positively influence the buyer and create a greater opportunity to strike a deal.

Sometimes a buyer will leave only their first name when submitting an offer making it impossible to know who we are dealing with or how to best interact/counter to a just a number.

Maybe consider adding a Comment Box for a short message along with offer? It'll be a little bit easier to recognize serious inquiries as they come in.

Hi Tom, Undeveloped 1.0 had a comment field and it was heavily abused to almost only send spam and try to get to bid under your minimum price.
@Undeveloped

When will we be able to send multiple counter offers or have the ability to accept prior offers were countered??? This is killing deals imo and sellers are the ones losing. We should be in full control

The feature to revoke your counter-offer and send a new offer will be launched soon. Based on all the negotiation data that we see, sending multiple lower counters to buyers without letting the buyer respond first is the biggest deal killer though. So our advice would still be to let the buyer always decide first and react before you lower your price.

It's all about price point validation. End-users often don't know how much a domain is worth and sometimes form a price point based on the price you send them. When you lower your asking price "easily" without them reacting you break down the price point perception and often those leads turn into no sales.

Bye the way: SSL certificates aren't added to newly parked names for 48 hours now due to a hard max limit that we've hit (we've already put SSL on 1.2Million domains).

We're trying to resolve the issue and increase the limit so we can continue generating certs. I'm expecting this issue to be resolved this week but we're dependent on a third party at the moment to give us the green light.

Have you guys noticed the load speed improvements on your for sale pages that we implemented yesterday?

The above is the performance of a lander without a background.

I don't see any SSL even on domains which were added 5-9 days ago...

Hi Jurgen,

Can you please send the domains you're referring to via Support so we can give it a look. We have already identified the problem as stated before so a fix is underway.

Kind regards,
Reza

Hi RDom,

The buyer will receive automated reminders and calls from our team for at least three weeks until they pay.

If you'd like to cancel a transaction before that timeframe, simply contact support and they'll do it for you timely. Soon you can also cancel transactions yourself if the payment hasn't been secured within the preferred timeframe.

Kind regards,
Reza

I didn't happen to notice it on my landing pages, but I did notice that when I am on my Portfolio page and I click Dashboard, it loads much faster now. That was always a really slow transition for some reason, which wasn't a huge deal because it's not buyer-facing.

It’s quite simple, domains that people want will attract offers regardless to where they’re listed.

I think and many will agree with me that the cents in the price are superfluous. This visually increases the price, which can affect the refusal of the transaction.
Moreover, when you convert prices to other currencies, there are no decimal and one-hundredth units in the price display.

You clearly have no idea how this works. Undeveloped is a marketplace (think Ebay for domains) where people list domains for sale, so they stole nothing from you.

Also, since YOU "missed a renewal deadline" the domain name is no longer yours, it becomes available for anyone to register and to do whatever they want with it. No matter for how many years you owned a domain in the past, once YOU "missed a renewal deadline" you have no rights over the domain.

Your best bet would probably be to purchase the domain from the current owner (via Undeveloped if the name is listed there) and let this be a lesson for you. When you build a serious business on a domain name, just make sure you renew the name on time.

Hope this helps (or not)

Hi Craig,

I'm sorry to hear you lost your domain name due to not renewing it. Like other users on this forum already mentioned, we don't own the domains that are for sale on Undeveloped.com. We're merely the marketplace that connects buyers and sellers.

Owning a domain name introduces specific responsibilities including the responsibility to make sure you pay your renewal fees on time.

It's unfortunate you didn't renew your domain but please don't falsely point fingers at others and take your responsibility and fix the problem however you want to.

Kind regards,
Reza

Hi Name Manager,

Due to us offering installments, for example, it would be impossible to not use cents. Also, we use the format known to each currency user to make it as clear as possible as we use the format know in those regions.

Kind regards,
Reza
