Yesterday something thrilling happened to me from Afternic sales, I must appreciate their fastest service. Yesterday I got an email from Afternic at 8.50 pm congratulating me that one of my domain names has been sold. At 8.52 pm I got confirmation about approved funds and asked me to push the domain name to their account. At 9.26 pm, I got email from Godaddy that the domain name has been removed from my account. At 9.35 pm received another email from Godaddy confirming the Change of account. And in early morning today 6.26 am got an email from Paypal informing me that I got a payment from Godaddy. In about 9 hours time the entire deal was completely closed. This is one of the fastest transactions recorded to me from Afternic. Kudos to Aternic/Godaddy Sales team.

Interestingly, I bought this domain name in an Ebay auction for $ 27 just 3 weeks before and listed it at Afternic Marketplace for a BIN price of $350. A whopping 1196% profit.

@SuperDudePro @anantj he said
''as per terms of contract, I should not share domain name. It is a crypto dot com name.''
''Sorry, I am not allowed to reveal the name in public platform. We need to protect the interests of the buyer.''

Maybe he just meant it's his professional policy not to share domains sold to clients

Exactly. If I name it, there are plenty of issues arising out of it.

People names sold names all the time Afternic or not. There is no contract and no name is the sellers choice obviously.

Which is fine and the OPs prerogative. Maybe he did mean it and he confirmed this in a subsequent comment. My comment was before that and a lot of people do get confused or are unsure about tne T&Cs of different services so the clarification. There a large difference between a contract (which is a legal binding agreement) vs personal preference/policy.

I sold a domain on 10th August at AfterNic, domain auto-transferred to buyer, I haven't received payment yet, was released 2 days ago. Worst service ever.

I've had a FT sale nearly a week ago where the domain was transferred instantly. No payment or payout date so far!

I've not used Afternic, i might give them a try. I sold one on Flippa recently, that took around 9-12 hours to get paid.

First time I've sold something on Flippa but was a good experience, especially after just dealing with GoDaddy who took 25 days.

wow congrats, i have no idea how you managed to blag that one. When i sell domains with fast transfer im usually waiting about 2 weeks for payment.

I made my 2nd sale on afternic about 2 weeks ago....Yesterday early am they sent me an email saying they have sent me payment......Today no transfer or payment shows in my bank account yet? Does it sometimes take more than 24hrs for this to happen after they say they have sent you funds/payment?

I don't remember how fast it was with my 1st sale there in the summer (also a lot smaller) so asking here first before I call support and all that....I would think it would at least show "pending" in my bank account by now ??

Yes, in my experience, it can. They email you as they authorize the payment. That payment actually will come from Go Daddy.
