Ok 2 weeks time to squeeze up. This is holding you back from other projects. You still hold the domain for 4.5k and you going to be firm with the price but will take a quick payment of 3.5k discounted for next 3 days only to detemine whether your present offers are serious so you expect a fast decision. You wont be dropping the price it is worth every penny. If he fails to take up your 3 day offer he knows the price and will expect greater in future. You will need to use your wording being always careful not to sound condecending or rude but your heels need to sound dug in.

Hold for more time will be better..

4L.coms ending with GO that have premium letters are hard to find. This is a very good one. It's worth more than $2k IMHO to an end user but if you need the sale then counter with $5000 or set it up so that you net at least $2500 after fees. Buyer should be able to come up.

Only if you need money for whatever reason would I go lower. This is a great 4L so stay firm. If you have it on a marketplace, I would make the buy it now price 4500...then every 'x' amount of days raise the price 100. Potential buyer will notice and may react and click the 'buy it now' button. This has worked for me on more than one occasion.

Agreed, typically you should not go any lower than a 20% discount.

Even if this buyer's budget truly is limited to 2k, there are plenty of other potential buyers for this quality domain. He is not the only buyer who will be interested in it. I would not go lower than 4500 under any circumstances.

If it was me I would be looking for more then what you are asking for this domain like 10-30k

I think you dropped the ball when you dropped the price. This is not a name to sell for bread and butter, it has potential.

The offer is ok. But then, if he's ready to pay $2000, then he'll most likely be ready for a little gear up, say $2500.
If you need the money now, then counter with say, 2300, 2500 or 2700.
You can also extract from namebio/com sales stats for 4L's to support your argument.

No a penny less than 3.5K IMO
