Below is an email I received this morning regarding one of my crypto domain names.
Please beware, as these scammers are now actually using peoples real names who actually work for the company they are pretending to be from.
In this case, the scammers are using "Dominik Herzog YOBIT, Inc"

I offer $35000 usd. I 'm getting a loan in my bank in Tokyo to invest in web projects and domains. I will send the funds through GMO Digi Rock Inc. escrow because they support Japanese buyers and Japanese language. You will be paid in bitcoins or USD (they may change bitcoins to USD if you wish).

Do you have a certificate? It's required by my bank.

The certificate must include the following to be accepted by me and my bank:
- Ownership verification (the certification agency must confirm you are a legal owner).
- Legal verification (proves the domain has no problems with trademarks or other problems with the law in Japan).
- Restriction verification (the domain must not be pledged or sold to third parties).
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days)
- Copy of the certificate in Japanese (required by the bank).
- The certification agency must be authorized by my bank.

I'm a professional investor and I won't be able to send you the payment without this certificate. There is no other way for you and me to finish the sale. The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction.

Please contact my personal domain broker Takeshi Hirano (GMO DigiRock Inc - my hosting provider) His email: [email protected]

What is your Telegram user name? If you have Telegram you may contact DigiRock English speaking representative @RobertReese at https://no_url_shorteners/RobertReese

They will help you with transfer of your domain and certification. DigiRock Inc. make certificates in Japanese that are accepted by my bank.

We received one, too. Scams can be reported to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center: https://www.ic3.gov

Got one too. What are they trying to get? The domain or what?

Thanks Kenny! Found the answer on Name Cheap. It's in the appraisal. They own the appraisal service.
