Criminals and traitors need to be removed from office.
The only other country I can think of where people throw around words like patriot, traitor and treason so much is North Korea. Maybe there are a couple other dictatorships I have overlooked. But when words like that become common currency, it's pretty clear what the future holds.

Funny White House Press Briefing

Flag over Congress is flying at half staff.
Flag over the White House is at full staff.
Not one kind word to say about McCain, just tweeting made-up polling numbers and strutting around like a pathetic little rooster.

Student Loan Watchdog Quits, Says Trump Administration 'Turned Its Back' On Borrowers
https://www.npr.org/2018/08/27/642199524/student-loan-watchdog-quits-blames-trump-administration

“Unfortunately, under your leadership, the Bureau has abandoned the very consumers it is tasked by Congress with protecting," it read. "Instead, you have used the Bureau to serve the wishes of the most powerful financial companies in America.”
While I’m not convinced free college for everyone is the answer, it’s clear that this administration couldn’t care less if students can afford the cost of higher education.

But hey - the financial companes are happy.

45 refuses to respond to press questions about McCain:

"Any thoughts on John McCain?"

TRUMP: No response.

"Any thoughts on the legacy of John McCain?"

TRUMP: No response.
Sat there scowling with his arms crossed and didn’t say a word until the press left the room.

Cowardly, weak little man.

Bet the funeral will draw bigger crowds than his inauguration.

You can just feel his hate in that picture.

I guarantee by the end of the week he will purposely do or say something really outrages just to try steal McCain's spotlight this week.

Such a F'n Baby!

You’d think the person holding the highest elected office in the land would be able to at least manage a pleasantly bland sentence or two recognizing his service.

Russian news is reacting the same way (one of them blatantly said their “enemy” is dead. ) I guess he doesn’t want to displease Mother Russia (or sugar daddy vlad.)

UPDATE: The WH finally issued a statement and lowered the flag again. The statement was not the typical word salad - Kelly probably wrote it.

Good.
I bet John Kelly had a lot to do with that.
And I bet Trump fought it all the way.

Yep, Trump had to fall back because of all the negative coverage:

"Pres. Donald J. Trump: "Despite our differences on policy and politics, I respect Senator John McCain’s service to our country and, in his honor, have signed a proclamation to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff until the day of his interment."

Obviously, not genuine.

Kelly still around ? He was said to be the adult in the room, but he is not often seen in the room lately.

I cant blame Kelly for not wanting to be seen with Trump.
I know I wouldn't want to be seen in the same room as Trump :cautious:

North Korea accuses US of ‘hatching a criminal plot’ against Pyongyang

“Such acts prove that the U.S. is hatching a criminal plot to unleash a war against the DPRK and commit a crime which deserves merciless divine punishment in case the U.S. fails in the scenario of the DPRK’s unjust and brigandish denuclearisation first,” the paper said.

I think it would be funny if Kim did a missile test right before midterms.

False equivalence.

Not at all. Language tells us a lot. Traitor, treason, patriot,.. people who are forced to renounce their citizenship the the US being told "good riddance." Normal countries don't talk like this. There are no examples of normal countries talking this way. This is the language of extremists.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Your opinion, not a fact. You’re extrapolating and being unjustifiably melodramatic.

We’re hardly living under a “normal” administration at the moment. Having a vindictive, petty con-man occupying the highest elected office in the country isn’t exactly the norm.

Nobody’s being forced to renounce their citizenship unless you mean that thing where some in this administration were talking about revoking citizenship from naturalized citizens?

BINGO! And you don't have to go any further than the last four comments from our "friends" on the left to see this!

Kelly still around ?

but he is not often seen in the room lately.

Because he's busy getting $hit done, like making America great again!

I know I wouldn't want to be seen in the same room as Trump

I'm pretty sure you'd have no reason to be there!

think it would be funny if Kim did a missile test right before midterms.

Of course you would, JB!

We’re hardly living under a “normal” administration at the moment.

Having a vindictive, petty con-man occupying the highest elected office in the country isn’t exactly the norm.

the only thing abnormal about it, is the level of vitriol and obstruction from the left and the media!

it's quite astounding actually!
