cardano.com looks like a company unrelated to cryptos completely.

ripple had it in their terms that ripple word is trademarked since I think they began.

same probably applies to ether and other things.

aside from bitcoin and crypto and coin and blockchain and maybe couple more keywords... that doesn't leave much room for domaining

still there are some reported and unreported sales across all crypto keywords.. and all kinds of enduser sites running on these keywords too.. so all this can be a bit hard to figure out for domainers and no wonder often leads to confusions... it is after all not like the walmart or apple trademarks.. where uses and technologies are well defined... over long term.. and do not in themselves imply a more public and decentralized idea.
