I had about 10 .technology one word domains and dropped them all. No interest whatsoever.
audiobook.technology and cameras.technology among them.

Companies in their names/brands are using the plural version "Technologies"... almost always.
So .tech is significantly better investment.

I tend to agree that .tech is better, and the few I have are in that and not the longer extension. Tha longer might be good for exact match company name but those would not be a domain investor situation.

all good one-word .tech domains reserved by RADIX registry with $X,XXX renewals
Not all... just some part of them...
Overall, and regardless of TLD, how many good domains you see - depends only on your intelligence...

I totally agree with @Jurgen Wolf that some good .tech domains are available non-premium (I even think I have a couple :xf.smile:). I think this TLD has potential, but it needs a larger mass of companies using it to start the trend. It is encouraging that the huge CES tech show uses it:

I think almost anyone involved with tech is familiar with the Consumer Electronics show (about 190,000 people attended the last one), so that alone is useful when promoting tech domains to end users.
