JV Partnership - Domain Drop Software

Hello everyone

I’m very interested in a JV with someone who has programming skills to develop software to drop catch nominet.uk domains specifically.

I intend on using the domains caught for internal projects but will not dismiss commercial opportunities to sell domains to others.

I have the company and financial resources to set up registrar accounts and I believe this will be more efficient than using api software to access other registrar services?

Please DM me if you’re interested. Alternatively I’m interested in hearing what others think about this idea.. Viable or a waste of time/money?

Out of 10 success auction wins on CatchTiger, they have only been able to catch 2 domains.

The rest have been snapped up by unknown domain catchers.

There must be someone in this forum that has the programming skills to replicate what these independant catchers are doing????

Dear sir, mani domein expert tried to do dis. It not about programing skil, u need to own a higher number of registrars. Any succesful druping service haz mani registrars. If u want to match the power of catching of pheenix for egssample (it a weak dropcatching service but can pik mor than catchtigar) u need to own at least 500 registrars. That is an overhead of 2 million dullar per year in icann fees, gud luck get discont.

AFAIK Nominet do not allow multiple registrars owned by the same party. This is to ensure a level playing field.
Or they changed policy completely.
.uk is highly competitive, there are lots of registrars doing dropcatching. In fact, many are not registrars but individuals who are members of Nominet and have access to the registry like registrars.

This is my understanding too.

I have seen unknowns win drops and Crommy due dilligence they are only linked to one ‘tag’.

I must presume therefore that it’s down to their software that allows them to win the majority of the time.

I have no issues in becoming a registrar. And have the finance to support the application.

I’m open to all JV enquiries.

I just want the domains for internal reasons but I can see the broader commercial potential.

Can't remember the last time I used a drop-catch service.
If I were in your place, I'd be thinking of setting up a professional domain marketplace similar to SEDO. Every domainer needs such.
Other sundry services are secondary.
