Hello fellas,

Recently I was bidding on GoDaddy expired domain auction and lost hope on a domain as I thought its gonna go way high and lost the auction for around low 2xx figure.

Its a one word .net domain INCREMENT.NET

I got a mail from GD today that the winner did not complete the transaction and as I am the second highest bidder it goes to me and gave 24 hours to complete the transaction or it will go to the next guy downstairs.

A quick advise please on getting this domain or let it go for that price. I actually like to add a one word .net to my portfolio but need your expert thoughts on this one.

Thanks in advance for your time guys.

I would probably pass on it. It is a single word, but I don't really see a clear use.

Given that it's well aged & a single word .net domain i'll say at this price go for it.

.NET domains are hard to sell nowadays. There are better names for $5 - from closeout lots.

I won it on Godaddy auction. I have paid for the auction as well but the amount is not reflecting on Godaddy. These stupid guys requested me to pay again then I said no!

FYI: They didn't refund the previous amount.

Then congrats and good luck!

I have created a support team with Indian Goddady team immediately but it's useless and time-consuming process. They still offered to a second highest bidder. I see how this goes.

Even if I let it go now it will go to third guy. Isn’t it.?
I have no idea. They are adding 18% GST to Godaddy auction so I stopped using them a long ago. I have placed a few bids recently and won this domain.

There is no any support team for GD Auctions in GoDaddy India so you will not get support from them. You have to direct mail and contact to their USA office.

18% Tax is compulsory for Indians whether you buy through auction or hand registration.

@BuyBrandWeb.com .. Do you have credit card attached with them..?

So what if third Guy also don't want to pay .. then is it go to fourth, fifth .. and so on? and what if there is no any bidder after you? ..

This is system generated email. wait for their reply.

Yeah but they need CVV and OTP to complete the transaction

That's why I ask you. It is difficult to charge credit cards in India. I think 48 hours after auction already over and they are not able to charge your credit card hence they send email to second highest buyer.

@sheiky are you also from India..?

I have PayPal attached with GoDaddy and I am an Indian living in Australia.

I think in this case as @BuyBrandWeb.com didn't pay within 48 hrs hence @sheiky you will get it.

@BuyBrandWeb.com GoDaddy deactivate your account and you are not able to bid GD auctions hereafter. But you can pay fees around $10 and they activate your account again.

Why should I pay $10 USD since I have already paid for the auction?

I have a proof and it's a glitch in their website. Let's see how this goes!

In this case only GD Staff can clarify what exactly happened.

Don't rely much on GD's support. They are usually clueless about what is going on. Sometimes I wonder what they're smoking when I'm on the phone / chat with them.

They don't know, they don't care and they don't want to know. They only want to finish the conversation with you as soon as possible. They're half asleep most of the time and they sound as if they just want to go back to sleep.

Unless you can get some manager involved I doubt anybody will take a closer look at this.
