William Cato, here from Brumley MO.

I have been online since 1995 and use to own Ultra Internet Web Technologies. It was a local ISP (Dial up) and webhosting company. I have actually been in the domain industry for a month.
My goal is to learn as much as possible, particularly sales. I have 10 domains at the moment that I would like to sell and big list of domains to buy. My short term goals for this year is to sell my 10 domains and buy more. Not to mention to soak up as much as I can about domaining.

My first domain purchase was actually, 3 domains. 2ultra.com, uiwt.net, ultralink.com. I have been in the internet marketing industry for over 11 years. I got started after reading my first flipping eBook in 2006. It was actually about flipping blogs. I was a little scared to try to sell one of my domains at that time and just built my Adsense blog.

It wasn’t until 2016, that I listed uiwt.net on flippa. I read in another book that it would get more attention without a reserve. The domain was 20 years old and I lost it for one Dollar. A mistake I will not repeat.

When it comes to domain technologies, with my lack of experience I would like to see analytics, marketplaces and parking evolve. My personal predictions would be the IO domains will lose value. Dot com’s will increase along with .net a close second. .org and .info a close third.

As far as trends go I am going to keep my thoughts close to the vest.
When it comes to domaining I enjoy the research. Looking at the real world I would suspect it will become like the Real estate industry.

My only story I already told. But did help sale a domain bundle, and it took creating a one-page information site on drones. I had 10 articles and bookmarked each article title at the top like a table of contents. Added video from YT to the page. That is what sold the person on the domains.

The best change was when domain prices came down in price. My first three domains cost me $70 each.

Great Intro
would suspect it will become like the Real estate industry.
More than most people realize...developing a domain.."flipping a house" or building on vacant land..

I'm brand new here. You've been here a while. What selling strategies have worked for you here? Would like to benefit from your experience. Thank you.
