Hello everybody.
I've been collecting domains (mostly dot coms) since 1999, and currently own a few hundred. I've sold a few and stupidly lost a few more over the years. I've concentrated mainly on domains prefixed with '360' in them as I was specialising in virtual reality and 360 degree photography before Google and their maps came on the scene, and also with Australian real estate domains (.com. .net .info). I have not done anything much except list some with Godaddy and Afternic, but am considering either selling or developing some of them now that I have some time on my hands.

I would think that my best '360' dot com domains would be the following:
fashion360
retail360
360shop
360market
360retail
360eu
360girls
360style
360expo
360adult
360industry
360display
360pilot
360estate
360advertise
360time
360product
360model
360advert
360africa
360australia
360chemist
360paris
360germany
360spain
360iran
360iraq
360nz
360pilot
360simulator
360time
360producer
360cities
360walkthrough
360merchant
360holiday
360garment

etc.. etc.. there's more but I won't list them all.

(incidentally, I noticed that another Namepros user listed some of my domains as available back in Jan.2017 so I'm not sure what was going on there ... see post 5936644 )

So, if I was to sell, what are your thoughts on selling my '360' domains either as a package to an investor or company with the money (and where would I find such a person?) or should I play the waiting game and try and sell them individually?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Hello @GraigD .. and Welcome to NamePros!

I like the first couple that end with 360! Since you have a relatively concentrated niche I highly advice looking up past/recent sales of 360 names to have an idea of how yours compare.

As for selling .. it totally depends on you. If you sell as a bulk package you'll get far less than if you waited for actual end users .. that being said for many domains there will never be end users so selling them cheap can certainly be better than not selling them at all.

Best of luck to you going forward! :)

Hello Ategy.com, thanks for your thoughts mate!

I've looked up past & recent sales of similar names (I appear to have the majority of the pick of the crop, so that's not necessarily a good guide), used a few domain appraisal tools with interesting results, and I have received some good offers on some, but I'm in no hurry to liquidate my assets at this stage - unless there is someone out there willing to offer me a golden handshake for the complete package :)
I'm wondering if the value for these .com's will pick up or drop off with the introduction of all the new domain extensions?

Newbie question - what's the difference between a 'like' and a 'thank'?

I see you have "360Iraq" for sale for $100,000.

You might want to look at similiar sales of "360" domains and reduce price a little.

They both count as "Likes" in theory .. so technically not much difference .. more just to actually "Thank" someone who helps you or whose information helps you .. but essentially not much difference! ;)

As for your portfolio .. I'd definitely take individual offers seriously .. you're far more likely to get more money per domain than if you sell them all as a package! However .. just note that there can be a huge discrepancy in value between your "360" domains depending on the other keyword as well as if the 360 is before or after.

I'd also agree with @NYJimbo .. $100k is way overpriced for 360//Iraq

Hi NYJimbo,
I only just joined Afternic and was actually playing around to see what prices show up on Godaddy. It seems that the average punter on Godaddy sees the higher Afternic price. I'll drop them to more reasonable prices when I get around to it..
