domains WW.com, XW.com and BZ.com All Change Hands Today

Spaceship Spaceship
With 676 two-letter .COM domain names in existence, transactions involving those names can be few and far between. In fact, the last time we reported on a two-letter .COM sale was almost two and a half months ago. Today, news has been disclosed of three separate two-letter .COM sales.

The moves, first noticed by George Kirikos (@GeorgeK) on Twitter, include at least one name heading to China and one heading to the UK. The name heading to China BZ.com, with XW.com under privacy protection at GoDaddy, which were both part of the Reflex Publishing portfolio.

The company, known for rarely selling a domain name, own a vast portfolio of some of the best names on the Internet including several other two-letter .COM's.

BZ.com moved under privacy protection to eName and currently doesn't resolve. XW.com has moved under privacy protection at GoDaddy, so the owner's nationality is currently unknown. These two sales from the Reflex Publishing portfolio likely sold for six or seven-figures each, given previously disclosed two-letter .COM sales. Reflex Publishing has independently confirmed that they are no longer the owners of BZ.com and XW.com.

The third domain name to move today is WW.com. Unusually, this name moved away from China to the British company SafeNames. SafeNames is a global domain management and brand enforcement organization that represents both small and large companies. Previous names to move to SafeNames include Casino.online, which sold for $201,250 in 2017.

The WW.com domain name is just one of twenty-six names with repeating letters (AA.com, BB.com, CC.com) and so will likely command a higher price than other two-letter domains. There have only been two similar sales that have been publicly disclosed. Those are MM.com and KK.com, which sold for $1.2 million and $2.4 million respectively.

Thanks for sharing once more. WW moving from China to UK? Yap! This is very unusual indeed and that must be a very big cash to buy the domain away from Chinese.
Interesting!

Wow Reflex sold a domain? I tried buying Tampa.com for $200k+ about a year ago (when I had money) and was pretty much told there is no chance. Their main office is there so I understand why. Dude I talked to was so nice though and had a great personality. I really liked the communication despite my best effort being denied.
