Given the heated discussion some of you have recently had about the issue of hand-registering domain names, it would be interested in understanding some of your hand-registration habits.

In my case, I have had different stages when it comes to hand registration, but during May and June I have been registering about 60 or 70 per month.

I voted for 6-10/month. It can be more or less. But I register only .com and .co, when I see something is available that I like.

Actually, I registered 2 coms and 1 club today. That's already about half of what I said my total was for the month. But I couldn't find away to change my vote to 11-30.

generally 1 a week - I get the kids to throw ideas around now as well which is fun, non registered from their ideas - yet........but you never know.

My doctor and my banker told me I have serious CVCVC and CVCCV fiver.
Registering 50+ per month.

They suggested me to a good domain shrink whom I would visit once I get broke..!!

I hand register on two occasions:

When I am boozed
When I have a strong urge to prove my wifie wrong who insists domaining is not worth anything (though I end up proving her right with most hand registrations)

I hand register 10-20 geo domains on daily basis and my team does outbound on them from next day itself.... We are able to sell 3-10% of our portfolio every month for low to mid xxx but since all are hand registered so we make decent roi...

Wow 60-70 is really huge. And what's the sales rate like. I believe you outbound the domains, isn't it time consuming. I reg 1-5 a month. last month i did reg 10 domains and close 3 sales with total up to low xxxx.

I have over 800 domains and all ,expect some 4LLLL.com domains ,have all been handregistered .
I enjoy picking a name myself and later seling it for a small profit .
Latest are ,Qtech.io - SofTec.io - Sharkset.com - FindMyPet.app- FindMyName.app -Wulva.com SkyMigo.com -JetsetLodge.com - dn.zone -Wackko.com ,etc

Interesting. Whats the most succesful outbound methods for you? What % is email, what phone?
