- Indonesia was expelled by FIFA for participating in World Cup Russia 2018 qualifiers because of its government’s interference in the game.

In 1966, the Jules Rimet Trophy, awarded to the World Cup champion, went missing for an entire week. It was stolen just before the tournament started, but eventually recovered.

I actually think VAR ruined the match.

It is important to note tho, its ultimately the on field referee's decision. VAR only recommends a review.

I think both cases were wrong..
