The LLL.com sales report & discussion thread

We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

@Finlead

Will / Can you add some clarification to NameJet bidder: FINLEAD bid(s) in the IEZ.com auction from earlier this month?

-- There is a historical WHOIS entry of FINLEAD AG owning IEZ.com on May 7th, 2018.

upload_2018-6-17_7-4-32.png

-- During the June 2018 auction, I believe the WHOIS was private, but the nameservers and registrar (Uniregistry) stayed the same.

-- On June 3rd, 2018 @ 6:18 AM bidder FINLEAD placed a $13,500 bid for IEZ.com http://archive.li/XyzAn

-- On June 3rd, 2018 @ 1:09 PM bidder FINLEAD placed a $14,000 bid for IEZ.com

-- I am not ruling out the possibility that FINLEAD sold the domain before the auction, then tried to buy it back in auction.

-- But if that's the case, you should know that FINLEAD did the seller a disservice. In that, FINLEAD scared away a real prospective buyer, as the prospective buyer in question did his/her due diligence and due to the optics, decided not to participate in the auction.

-- It may also be worth noting that IEZ.com was mentioned in The strange case of World com and network solutions hijacked domains thread by @tonecas

if i am not mistaken, Uniregistry as a bogus privacy email system that can leak user information, since the email address used in the WHOIS privacy is the same for all domains of the same client.

so it is just a matter of tracking the domains owned by [email protected] ...

"-- I am not ruling out the possibility that FINLEAD sold the domain before the auction, then tried to buy it back in auction."

That is exactly what happened. We traded the domain for another 3-letter and when IEZ was listed on Namejet we tried to buy it back.

Received $175k offer for my LLL.com, counter offered $450k.

LLL.com is the best investment in domaining, especially nowadays as the are crazy low priced, my prediction minimum LLL.com price will be $100k in near future.

LLL.com dumping like knifes on 4.cn

AFAIK, it's 4.cn (Goldenname, midai.com, ..) itself that holds these domains after been collecting them in the last years and going in their own market buying domains.

seems that money is getting scarce...
https://www.4.cn/hotsale/event/tag/170

all CHIPs and going for $22k and above.

go after them quickly

a few of them i sold for more than $60k back in Nov15 and now are going for 1/3... talk about easy money, big domain holders and great sales stories... nothing like a bearmarket to show that this is a hard business also.
