This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

I've passed over a lot of "Freight" names thinking they made no sense. Can you please shed light on how you knew Fre///ight////Mall was valuable?

When I Google, I can't see any exact matches or anything that would let me know it was worth.

If you don't feel like sharing, sorry for asking :(

I had hand registered a few domains regarding freight. A few friends are into trucking business I thought a company in trucking/logistics business might be interested but those names don't get any visits 😁 I guess I got lucky with this one.

Freight brokerage is a good business some one might use this domain for handling freight business/brokerage.

Thank you so much for this insight!

It really goes to show that knowing a niche or having insider info there is so valuable when finding domains. It's really the crux of domaining.

While 90% of us would look at Freight///M@ll and not realize its potential, you snapped it up seeing a four-fig sail simply due to your familiarity with the niche!

Woke up to a nice surprise this morning:

Thing (dot) is: $1080 / Undeveloped / bought October for reg. fee
I got an email from a buyer asking if he could have it for a "reasonable price." I asked him to make an offer, he said he didn't have a budget but hoped he could come to a reasonable deal. I set a $1200 price on Undeveloped and sent him to the page, as well as sending him Namebio comps as a reference. He agreed, then asked if I do 10-20% discounts, and out of courtesy I said I'd do 10% if he can close today. Closed right away.

One thing I should have tested here is the importing leads feature on Undeveloped. I sent him straight to the purchase page and I'm paying 9% commission, but they now have a way to import a done deal and take only 5% commission.

A few decent recent sales (all held less than a year and purchased for reg. fee or <$20 closeouts)
Fini dot co - $288
Peekt dot com - $500
Storywise dot co - $750
Visto dot co - $299
Orcah dot com - $388
ActionMasterclass dot com - $400

and working a reg fee to mid xxx .app sale that was paid but I'm stuck waiting on Name.com to manually unlock the name because of the 60 day waiting period.

Do you all pay to get more visibility on GoDaddy auctions/Sedo, etc? Because otherwise, how to get seen amongst thousands and thousands of other listings.

Kitchener/Cannabis dot king - $295 (GoDaddy Premium Listing)
Hand reg last year

Kitchener is a small Canadian city of about 250,000 people - marijuana was just legalized in Canada this week so I'm guessing these types of domains are selling very well right now!
