Have you checked the whois directly on Godaddy's website ?

You could use a free email checker service to see if [email protected] is a working email address. Other common prefixes are email@, hello@ and postmaster@.

Hunter.io can help in getting the relevant email addresses for any domain.

Try historical whois - the owner could be the same from before the GDPR update.

@w3names how do you use Hunter.io

Sign up for a free account at Hunter.io and do a domain search, which if successful, should return a list of email addresses related to the domain. For an unused domain this may not work as intended though.

Do you have a free solution for that? I used to use domainhistory.net, but it's down for several weeks.

Thanks!

Why are people recommending Whois at GoDaddy? It's just as stripped as those at all the other registrars, from what I've seen.

Good point. I thought the name was registered at Godaddy.
First of all, make you sure to identify the current registrar, than try searching directly on their website.

GD has long limited remote requests to their whois server through port 43, so the OP may have more success checking on their website, provided that the name is indeed registered with GD, and depending on whether the current registrant is covered by GDPR or using some whois privacy scheme.

For the most part from what I've seen the email address details are shown in the Godaddy whois hen . They're doing it as an attempt at defying the new GDPR rules. It might just be for Godaddy registered domains though.
