Afternic gives no update on payment status

(screenshot attached above)

I sold a domain through Afternic on 22 May. My first through them.
Domain was removed from my account same day. A friend told me that it takes 2-3 days before they "schedule" a payment date and 7 days for disbursement.
Their page says the same. "Disbursement will be issued in next 7 days"

But 8 days have passed and forget disbursement, they have not even updated a scheduled payment date. No email update in last 8 days and their "message to TA Agent" button does not work.

I even wrote a support ticket 3 days back about this which I never heard back from.

Anyone had similar experience? Is it normal or a glitch?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So, I guess I am screwed.

I always use wire (For India), whether it be Godaddy or Afternic.

I am not sure bt eCheck.

By wire i get paid in my bank in India precisely like this.

Suppose a 500$ sale. Minus 20% commission. That leaves 400$. Less 5$(One time processing fee, whether it be 1 domain in a day or multiple). That leaves 395$. Less 4% currency conversion (They claim 3% on their website but I have calculated and it comes down to 4% exactly (Maybe bank buying selling rate difference)).

500-20% = 400-5 = 395-4% = 379.2 * 67 (Current $ Rate) = 25,406 INR

Let us know, what you receive via eCheck.

eCheck amount is deposited as INR? If yes, then you will have to pay GST.

There is no GST:
  • If buyer is not a resident of India, and
  • Any offshore amount deposited in bank is not in INR
If any one of above two conditions doesn't meet then you will have to pay GST.
Have you registered for GST? Have you sumitted LoU?
I am going to register for composite scheme, but lets discuss that is a separate thread.

All my sales are pre-GST. I will now just avoid getting paid in INR. LoU is only needed if you want to claim input credit.

Only Godaddy charges GST. All other registrars I deal with don't have offices in India, so I can live with it.

Getting pretty off-topic, so lets end it here.

In india Paypal does not allow to withdraw to prepaid cards, that is why I was surprised.

I guess eCheck is messed up. What is wait period for eCheck to settle??
And what action could I take now? I contacted TA agent, but nothing.

For me, more than a week has passed since my payment release email.
Surely eCheck is a mess for Indians.

I prefer Paypal. It is faster than other options.

I do not want to sound contradictory but from my personal experience echeck is faster and cheaper (Specially, payments for 300$ and above in India).
I never tried echeck. I usually avoid anything which include the word Cheque. May be echeck is faster than Paypal, I will try it.

Have you ever received payment via eCheck? Where would have I gone wrong?

Nothing wrong because it is one of payment method. You will receive your payment eventually. Please inform how many days it takes to receive payment.

Dont worry, try to concentrate your daily activities and entertainment. One fine day (not long) you will receive the payment. If any error message you receive even then no worry. It will take just few days more.

By Echeck that means you have to select currency in INR, not USD. Doubke check this matter.

Yes, Currency was INR. I wrote to TA Agent (this time that button called "Message a TA Agent" worked) But no response.

If I select Paypal, do they send money as regular (with fees) or masspay (without fees)?

I found my mistake. Wrong IFSC.

I checked and confirmed that there is no possible account with that details. What to do now?

Not good. Now it will take longer than usual. Now your one and only option is correction.

Yes I have. Always.

I checked and confirmed that there is no possible account with that details. What to do now?

1). Create a new payee with correct ifsc.
2). Select that payee as default payee in account settings.
3). You may also need to select that payee seperately in all your listings at godaddy.
