The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
What could have been lol

Such a shame, you’d probably be able to hand reg those today

I registered a few bad names too, but it was always with a possible development plan in mind :)

Short sad story: 10 years ago I regged some hyphenated .asia domains.

I bought non-pronounceable, non-chip, LLLL.xyz's for $0.5 few months before they had that $0.01 sale. Total cost was $30 I think, Sold those at NamePros for $31 just few weeks before the $0.01 sale. $$$

was watching some youtube thing about people who made easiest money in millions

talked about a guy who in 1994 regged pizza.com cause he liked pizza.. $20... kept renewing sold in 2008 for 2.8million

back then.. most people had no clue what internet was or where it was going.

I guess being viosionary always pays

then again, $20 is not a big investment either. not like some other bigger money risk investments.

It's not only about the names. The really worst thing is what you could reg these years. It was much easier to make golden regs. But, yes, these are bad.

SEO-wise, elliot-wave.com is actually a very good name for its niche (fibonacci trading).

My top mistake was registering variations of top keywords as if they are the second best keywords. My second top mistake was renewing them for many years. But still they were better than what all others were registering and renewing. Also adult domains seem to be very difficult to sell, although just the opposite was claimed. In the past I was selling dropped .info's quickly. Now it doesn't happen. I think this is related to Sedo.

Seems like you liked hot sauce to me lol.

I gotta say I didn't ever reg hyphenated names, but mine were probably just as bad or worse (lots of TMs)

World-Reality.com was my very first .com registered back in 2003 and developed.
Dropped few years back. I was fishing for WRS.com back then, but it was taken already, regret it because I had no clue LLL.com will have such a value in the future.
