Hi all -

I’ve never done a poll before so hopefully I get this right.

There is an offer for my domain, CannaCafe/com, $20,000. Should I sell or hold for more? The offer is their absolute best!

Thanks :)

It’s really hard because the money in that industry is crazy. There’s def money to be spent. How long have you had it? 20k is a good offer.

Keith, I'd sell it in a flash for $20k, especially if they've said they wont go higher.

Good luck

I’ve had it for years and there has been no shortage of offers.

Superb Cannabis domain, and excellent opening offer. Social use Cannabis is going to be HUGE in the U.S. and elsewhere in the coming years.

I would counter this offer, I would be happy at this point selling around ~35000.

Best of luck!

I’m having the same issue right now with my domains. Are you hard up for cash? The .com weed wave hasn’t hit yet. I say hold on to it if your not in need for $. I own 420.tv so trust me we’re in the same boat. I say hold for now til you get an offer you can’t refuse

What kind of offer is it - initial or already negotiated?

I had never such big amount offered but in general the best domainers teach always to counter. Probably 35k advice from @Al Cohol would be just fine.

If initial offer I would counter. If already negotiated than I would take it.

Similar sales:
cannabiscafe///com 1,260 USD 2011-01-08 Sedo

If I google cannabis cafe I see a lot of potential.

Good luck!

I, too, would echo this sentiment.

Very strong domain with no shortage of end-users to satisfy.

I know it's not "canna" or "cannabis" but I also seen in this niche on namebio that bluntcafe/com sold for $1700 in 2017 at uniregistry.

Great name you have with a great offer!

I would also agree with 1Darko.

I would absolutely take that offer, The marinuana industry is huge yes but whos to say whether these guys will double their maximum offer price, and whos to say the even financially can?

20K is a lifechanging amount of money for some people, I’d take that and reinvest :) You can get some great names if people really need the money

Tough call. It’s a great name, but unless the offerer is a future big chain, don’t think mom n pop types will go much more. Do think 5-10k more is reasonable for it. So you may want to hold for 25-30k for it, either with them or a future offerer, but.., β€˜A bird in hand...’!! So your call.

GL with it Keith.

Hello Keith, it's a great Cannabis domain name and definitely deserving $20k (or more), however, you never know when you'd receive a similar offer. Consider the opportunity cost as well. You could perhaps reinvest this $20k elsewhere and double/triple your investment.

It’s a great name, really one on the most relevant/ top tier canna names.

But I think I would sell, especially if you have been in negotiations for a while and they’re not budging and considering you’ve held it a while.

I would take it but I don't know the niche that well. GL

well I Assume you didn't pay it much since u had it long time

so its your call to see how much higher 20k is than all the other numerous offers you got as you put it..

if you're getting ten 10-15k offers per year then keep it.. if your highest to date was say 5-10k... and once or twice only.. then I'd sell it

gl

ask for a few pounds of pot and the $20k

$20,000 will cover your expenses.
$20,000 enables you to reinvest.

No $20,000 = no covering expenses, no reinvesting. at least for most people.

Sell & be happy.
