Think about it, what if a billionaire named Cindy want "Cindy.tel" as her virtual business card.

So, I registered some nicknames in .tel extension back in 2009

cindy.tel
jane.tel
jerry.tel
franklin.tel
ellen.tel
jeffrey.tel
jesse.tel
cheryl.tel

However, .Tel registry failed to promote it and make it happened. Many domainers had dropped their .tel domains a few years ago. Finally, the .tel registry has lifted the DNS restrictions on 13th March 2017.
