Yes, to buy my german .top - domains, there is (much) fortune (money) needed.
Because they are (very) expensive.
.top has the potential to replace .de (and all other TLDs) because .top tops .de (and all other TLDs) in its (their) meaning.

This is a very rough statement, my experience is another.
And even if you are right in a statistical view, then .top has the potential to change this - because .top has a higher meaning than .at (and all other TLDs).
It's just that the consciousness about this untoppable fact is simply not established in the masses yet.

I rejected offers in the range of X,XXX.xx EUR for my german word .top - domain zahnarzt.top already a year ago - now it became just more valuable, the number of visits is increasing.

I suggest to compare your domain's paltry number of views (if there are any) with mine - you will need to take a breath then.
Obviouslyyy domaining isn't your field, better start coullecting stamps or other things instead of registering domains.

This idea is like the idea that you can buy the most exclusive / luxuryyy dentist ordination in the most exclusive / luxuryyy location for only X,XXX.xx
Maybe you can buy zahnarzt.de / .at / .ch / .com / .net / .org / … / .xyz for that amount but not .top
Whoever want's to own that (!) domain has to payyy for it, it's not a conventional TLD, it's the .top TLD.

I don't push the worst extensions - I criticise them.
On the other hand, I write about the untoppable greatness of the .top Extension and it's my right to stay top secret with my sales.
I think my passion for my own personal strategyyy is top, because I love to see me contributing positivelyyy to this forum every day by stopping your (or others) anti .top propaganda and sharing my own real experiences.

The "right" domain is relative, it just depends on what people (endusers) exactlyyy want in a specific time.
You can have the "best" domains - but if you don't get offers, they are obviouslyyy not the "right" ones.
Let it drop or stay patient, your decision.
