MUGSHOTS.COM, and the other mug shot websites, including tampacriminals.com, flarrests.com, bustedmugshots.com, whosarrested.com all work together with the same group of scumbag vendors. The vendors, that are supposedly separate from the mug shot companies work with them to place your mug shot on as many sites as possible. Once they see that a person (herein, victim) calls a vendor to remove a mug shot, they know that victim is weak and they try to get as much money as they can out of the victim.
I, posing as someone who wanted his mug shot removed, picked a mug shot off MUGSHOTS.COM at random. I then ran the name through google, bing, and yahoo. I knew before I called how many sites that person’s mugshot was on. I then called one of the MUGSHOTS.COM vendors. I was asked (they were trying to test how weak I was) “How important is it that you get it off?” After I explained that it was important to get it off, I was asked if I knew how many sites the picture was on. When I told them three websites, they came back and said that it was on 6. What they do is ONCE THEY KNOW YOU WANT YOUR MUGSHOT REMOVED THEY PUT YOUR MUGSHOT ON MORE SITES SO THAT THEY CAN CHARGE YOU FOR MORE REMOVALS!!! One guy, called me the next day and told me that he found the mug shot on another site. I am 100% sure that person was not on that site.
These companies put your picture up on more websites after they know a person is willing to pay. OR, the other thing they do is take you off the sites you are on that day and add you to a new site a few days later hoping you’ll call back to have your picture removed.
I attempted to pay by money order in order to get a physical address. None of them would give me an address straight out. They suggested western union or some other form of transfer. This is because they did not want to reveal their addresses. Two vendors gave me their address after I said that I only had cash. SURPRISE, SURPRISE- they were in Canada. They were:

NONE OF THEM ARE REGISTERED OR INCORPORATED IN ANY STATE. MOST OF THEM OPERATE OUT OF CANADA. THE WEBSITE REGISTRATION IS HIDDEN AND THEY CAN BE HOSTING FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. CALL ONE OF THESE COMPANIES AND ASK THEM FOR A PHYSICAL ADDRESS AND/OR A PLACE OF INCORPORATION AND I GUARANTEE NONE OF THEM CAN GIVE IT TO YOU. THE NUMBERS THEY HAVE ARE NOT REAL PHONE NUMBERS. THEY ARE FORGED THROUGH GOOGLE VOICE, SKYPE, AND DISPOSIBLE PHONES. THE REASON THAT MOST OF THEM ACCEPT ONLY PAYPAL IS TO HIDE THEIR IDENTITY BECAUSE THEY CAN HAVE THE CHECKS SENT THROUGH THE MAIL TO A P.O. BOX OR TRANSFERRED TO AN OFFSHORE BANK ACCOUNT. NO ONE CAN REMOVE A MUGSHOT UNLESS THEY OWN OR HAVE ACCESS TO A WEBSITE. THAT LINE THEY GIVE THAT “WE SEND A REQUEST TO MUGSHOTS.COM AND THEY REMOVE IT” IS A BUNCH OF BULL. THEY ARE ALL WORKING TOGETHER TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND ARE LAUGHING AT YOU.
