Just make sure its a decent LLL as they will not all make huge amounts, I'd check domainlore.uk to see current LLL levels ...

For example syn sold recently for £90

Obviously youd get more from an end user

plus most are registered, or have right or registration to the .co.uk until June next year

Maybe someone could offer trustee services here. 101domain is expensive and can't transfer out with the trustee contact.

Handreg a LLL.uk ?

Isn't it a LLL that is reserved until 2019 to the holders of .uk rights (usually .co.uk) ?

Yup....I thought they were all taken or reserved....I've had a look now and again, but pretty sure most if not all are reserved til next year... OP maybe mistaking the fact that if you add one in godaddy for example it will show that its available, and wont take it out of your cart till just before the payment screen...

You could register the domain at Hexonet, they offer UK based whois trustee.

It can be confusing on domain websites, but the whois makes it a lot more clear that they are reserved right of registration.

I'm looking forward to June 2019 as there are tons of .uk available but reserved at present which I know will fetch good money, even if just to the .co.uk owner once they realise the mistake in not registering it until after the reserved period ends ;)

I have a feeling that they're going to have a BIIIIG push for .UK before it comes up to the deadline. I'm not sure how it's going to work either, whether they will become available instantly on a certain date or what. But what I do know for sure is that the usual players will be there sniping all of the good .UKs using the infrastructure they already have in place.

You're right but the challenge will be to snipe the one's that they miss on their radar. Should be fun.
