This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Little asterisk with the above one: funds were received a while back, but the name has not been transferred yet due to registrar lock.

Did some outbound with this one. Received one price request and a couple "no thanks", but no sale. Asking price had started at around $1200, but I reduced to $950 after a couple months, and then to $685 last week, as I was on the fence about renewing.

@satyadeep singh I'm pretty sure Keith thought of the blockchain technology. Further a google search shows Bitindia has rebranded themselves into the domain in question which was sold

EOCcoin/com

Sold - Afternic $299

If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend picking up some Symbol + coin .com domains. Well worth the $8 ;)

This is the 3rd hand reg I sold. I will take turning $8 into $300 anyday.

I have a wholesale thread in the fixed price section which many members have purchased loads of great names for cheap over the last month.

One that was listed on my wholesale thread sold yesterday for $9,888 on Afternic. Solo/fi dot king.

Based on a recent TM application, it looks like it probably sold to a tax escrow and tax payment service.

Timeless/Brand dotcom

Sale venue: Uniregistry
Listing type: Make Offer
Seller: Me
Asking price: Min. $2000 offer (i don't know why i did this, maybe it was supposed to be the BIN)
Sale price: $4000

Details:
Held it for over a year or two, don't remember. @Recons.Com suggested that it's "suitable for a marketing campaign for a large company with 100+ years of history". I contacted Coca Cola, Pepsi and a few more, Pepsi replied with a 'no thanks'.

Tried to sell it for as low as $15 at NP auction, fortunately no one bid.

And then comes the Uniregistry broker telling me a buyer is offering $4000 max. I didn't even remember listing any domain at Uniregistry. The broker also revealed the identity of the buyer, noob mistake, I could've bypassed him and saved $600 commission. I accepted the offer, found out the buyer is a famous youtuber with 8 million subscribers. Then this happened.

Even though my domain lost in the poll (I don't understand how!), the buyer knew Timeless/Brand is much better than TimelessMerch.. and so the story ends, I lived happily ever after.
